4 ~ Speaker

Adrianna was at the bus stop, sitting on the sidewalk, criss cross. She turned her head at a familiar yell. "Adri!" Madison was running from her apartment, over to Adrianna.

Madison had a white, long sleeve, collared button up under an oversized black sweater. She had a black pleated skirt on, as well as fish net tights.

Adrianna, on the other hand, was wearing a plain striped black and white shirt, a light blue jean jacket, and some black leggings.

Adrianna smiled, waving at Madison. They had become rather close over the past couple days before school. Madison stood next to Adrianna, smiling down at her. "So how's the bus normally like?" Adrianna questioned.

"Hell. Like everything in my life." Madison smiled. "But guess whhaaaattt?" Madison leaned on Adrianna's lap, her blushing.

"Uhm...what?" Adrianna uncomfortably shifted back and forth. Madison sat back up and reached in her bag, pulling out a speaker.

"I've got a speaker!"

"What are you planning to do with that?"

"Play music, duh." Madison sighed, then zipping her backpack back up, a small smile on her face.

Then a loud vehicle headed towards them, both of them looking up. "It's the bus!" Adrianna quickly got up.

"No duh." Madison swung her bag over one of her shoulders, smirking. They then walked over to the bus and inside.

"Madison, you're in the very back. And the girl behind you can sit with you." The bus driver said, not looking away. Madison silently congratulated herself on the seat, giggling.

Adrianna walked with Madison into the back, shaking her head. "Why is sitting in the back a good thing?"

"Because it's basically V.I.P. The front of the bus are the losers who are teachers pets, the middle are people who just wanna draw, and the back is the chaotic side."

"But then wouldn't the middle be the best?"

"Nah, because the back always harrasses them. The back harrasses everyone."

"Then why is that good?"

"Because we-" Madison signalled to the two of them. "Will now not get harrassed. The only bad thing is we may get traumatized for life." Madison casually said that, sitting down with Adrianna, Adrianna near the window.

"How is that so casual for you?" Adrianna shook her head, confused.

"Uhm..haven't we all gotten scarred for life? We live in an apartment complex for heaven's sake."

"No! I haven't! I've lived in a house my entire life." Adrianna explained, Madison making a surprised face.

"Why'd you move here then?"

"I didn't want to! My mom got evicted.."

"Oh...sorry to hear that. Well, you're gonna get traumatized sooner or later here, so why not sit in the back?" Madison seemed almost remorseful at first, but then giggling during the second part.

Then, after a few more kids got on, the chaos began.

"What'd you do over the summer?"

"He probably just sat around watching anime-"

"Did not! I went to Universal!"

"Pfft, we all know that's a lie."

"I'M GONNA KILL MYSELF IF YOU WIN UNO ONE MORE TIME-"

"Shut the hell up, Brandon!"

Adrianna sat there, staring at everyone screaming at eachother, speechless. "Wait, everyone! Who wants toooooo-" Madison pulled out her speaker. "Listen to music!"

They all seemed to know eachother well, except Adrianna didn't know either of them. "Ooh! Yeah! What about we listen to that one song we played last year?" Brandon, the kid who just threw a tantrum, asked.

"That one song? How disrespectful." Madison then connected her phone to the speaker, then beginning to play Help Let Me Go by Danny Gonzalez, everyone beginning to sing along to it.

"He was just a dolphin, swimming in the sea-" They had been singing, everyone staring at them until it came to the chorus, which everyone knew. So then the entire back of the bus, and some of the middle, were singing the song.

It was extremely loud, Adrianna covering her ears but giggling and singing the chorus with all of them. "HEY! WHO IN THE WORLD IS PLAYING THAT MUSIC?!" Everyone slowly stopped singing, leaving only the speaker playing, Madison trying to turn it off.

Some people in the front pointed to Madison, her freaking out. "Shut up, you rats! Were you aware all tattletails deserve death?!" She yelled to them, standing up and grabbing the seat, Adrianna turning the speaker off.

"Hey! Madison! Get up here!" The bus driver yelled, Madison glancing over at Adrianna, almost begging her for help with her eyes.

She then hit her chest twice. "Remember me if I don't come back alive." Everyone laughed as she walked to the front, Adrianna fiddling with the bottom of her shirt, blushing.
