"..." Victor was currently in the large apartment that the rest of the party had rented for this night, still sitting on his wheelchair. He was keeping an ever-frozen frown on his face as he stared at the awkward-looking Luka, while Alice in her monster form as her tail was sprawled over the room completely ignored his existence by eating her honey-filled dangos.

"I-I'm sorry, I tried to stop her, but…" Luka said, but Victor's exasperated sigh made him silent once again.

"...I understand. This day has been too tiring for me, so let's leave it for tomorrow." Victor sounded calm at the moment, and because of that, Alice couldn't understand the feeling of ominousness inside her guts.

However, it got clear to her when Victor materialized a plastic tray lying on the armrests of his wheelchair, holding a warm plate filled with spaghetti with a dark-yellowish color on it, seasoned with cubes of meat.

"..." Alice's attention was brought to the dish while Victor grabbed the fork and started to eat it.

"*Sniff* It smells good!" Penny commented while she was sitting on Eva's lap. Since they were in a closed space, there was no need for her to keep up her poor disguise and now her dog ears were visible to everyone.

It took a small bit to explain that part to Eva, as Victor had a tiny bit of worry in the case she would start to bully Penny. After all, Eva is a Hero, she clearly had shown distaste against Alice and Granberia.

But fortunately, Eva simply stroked Penny's head while letting her sit on her lap. Apparently, for Eva, there was no problem with Penny being a monster because, as she quoted: 'The Goddess doesn't differentiate between innocents, no matter their races and ages'.

While Luka agreed to it, Alice was left with a bad taste in her mouth when Ilias was brought up. Unknowingly to everyone, Victor hid a snort at the unconscious double meaning that appeared in that sentence.

Yeah, the Goddess doesn't really care, they are all sinners for her in the end…

Anyway, Eva accepted Penny being a monster, so everything was fine! 

"What is that?" Penny asked from Eva's lap, staring at Victor's dish. Although he was currently left with only a thousand Gold Coins because he didn't get yet the new hourly income of 10'000 Gold, he still didn't bother being sneaky while he prepared himself for dinner.

"Oh, this?" A smile appeared on Victor's mouth as Penny brought up his dish. Alice was smart, so she could guess what Victor was doing.

Of course he would not 'leave it for tomorrow'...

"This is called Spaghetti alla Carbonara, an italian dish from where I live. It's made of pasta with a sauce made of eggs and bacon, along with grated cheese on top of it. Do you want a bite?"

"Yay! I want it!" Penny nodded as Victor wheeled closer to her while materializing a smaller fork. He used it to gather some spaghetti on the fork and pressed the tip on a bacon cube to pierce through it. Then Victor lifted the fork and said.

"Open the mouth wide."

"Aaaahh…" Penny did as Victor said and then he stuck the fork inside her mouth. She closed her lips as Victor pulled the fork out of her mouth, leaving the food inside her mouth.

After chewing a bit and digesting it, Penny replied. "It's delicious!"

"Of course it is." Victor wheeled back to his position as he started to eat his dish with his own fork. Alice silently scoffed and twisted her head away from him… As if some delicious, juicy dish made up with pasta and sauce made of egg yolk and fried bacon cubes along with grated pecorino cheese could attract her attention…

*Slurp* She sucked in a bit of her saliva that was trailing from her mouth…

She is the Monster Lord, she is better than this…

"Sorry for interrupting your dinner, but…" Eva suddenly spoke out as she stared at Victor with curious green eyes. "...How did that appear out of nowhere?"

"Hmm?" Victor raised an eyebrow as he glanced at Eva, and soon a new thought came in his mind. "Oh right, you are new so you don't know. Well… How can I explain it in a simple manner… I can make a lot of money without doing anything, and with that, I can buy anything I want. I also have like 12 empty pockets where I can keep the stuff and pull it out of nowhere like you had seen now."

Eva's eyes widened in surprise. "So you can keep as many things as you want without them weighing you down?!"

"Yeah." Victor nodded before Eva quickly got up in shock, accidentally letting Penny fall from her lap with a surprised yelp.

"That's incredible!"

Her excited state took Luka and Alice by surprise as they brought their attention to her. Although they were also taken aback by Victor's mysterious abilities, they had merely pushed it aside as something unique from his hometown, because there were actual spells that could do much more than that in this world.

"You could store as many Gold Coins as you want without any problem, is that right?!"

"That is correct, yes." With a raised eyebrow, Victor confirmed.

"That…" Eva took deep breaths once she realized the weird looks she was receiving, and cleared her throat. "Sorry, I was caught up by surprise… You see, there are two kinds of adventurers in this world: Heroes and normal Travelers. New people who want to travel a lot try to get themselves baptized as Heroes, both for the 'assistance' of the Goddess Ilias in fights against monsters and mostly because of their privileges, which makes them very different from normal travelers.

You might not know it, but there are no travelers who can stay in the wild for extended times, unlike Heroes; and once they have reached the continent of Sentora, they simply set down somewhere and live there for the rest of their lives."

"Is that so?" Luka asked with a surprised tone. That was also his case, since he was not baptized and is still traveling in Ilias Continent. He already understands that he certainly is not the first person to have traveled without getting baptized; it's been a thousand of years, there must be people like him in the past, and maybe even in the present.

However, when Eva said that there is no adventurer like that who could keep up their travels in Sentora, he started to get a bit worried. "Why is that the case?"

"Well…" Eva took a deep breath. "Monsters are many times stronger in Sentora compared to Ilias Continent, and thus you will need stronger weapons to injure them and harder armors to resist their attacks and spells. Of course, along with the quality of the items, their prices also increase proportionally.

It's not like everyone can carry an infinite amount of Gold Coins within their 'pockets' like Victor does, so how do you think they hold enough money to buy those kinds of products?"

"I heard that there are banks in Iliasburg…" Luka suggested out, but Eva shook her head in disagreement.

"They can hold as much money as you have, but you can send the bill only on the banks of the same continent. If you try to buy something pricey in Sentora, Iliasburg's bank will not assist you unless you open a new bank account in San Ilia connected to Iliasburg's. Of course, to get there, you have to go through the strong monsters I had talked about before."

"So they cannot buy anything that the shops sell…" Luka ended what Eva was talking about.

Eva nodded and continued. "That's where the privilege of being a Hero comes in. Because they can get large discounts on products, they can buy the most expensive thing in the world at a price that is much cheaper than the amount of money you probably had brought with yourself for this journey."

She shifted her gaze from Luka to Victor and finished. "Basically, Victor is like a walking bank. Any normal adventurer would beg you on their knees simply to have you financially assist them in their travels. You can help them buy new equipment in Port Natalia and then let them reach for San Ilia without a problem, before they can open a new bank account and connect it with the bank in Iliasburg."

"A walking bank… Huh, I never thought about it in this way…" Victor commented before he put another fork of pasta in his mouth.

His ability to store as much money as he wants is really useful. He had played RPG games, so he didn't care much about this fact. After all, the only limit on Gold Coins he had in these games was the limit cap. However, there wasn't any RPG System like that in real life.

If Luka tried to hold on to a bag the amount of Gold Coins Victor would have in a few days, his bones would be crushed under the massive weight.

However, that problem is now fixed because Victor has this money-making system. Maybe there is much more about his System that he can pull out, other than the bank thing…

Soon, he finished eating his fill and sold the empty dish and tray for 74 Gold Coins in total, and he used 30 of them to buy a can of cola. 

*Fzzzz!* A spraying sound came from the can as Victor opened it with his thumb, once again attracting everyone's attention to him. Upon seeing him drinking the content of the red can, almost everyone turned back to their own thoughts except for Alice, who was silently glaring at him without being noticed.

She chewed on the remaining dangos before she shifted in her human form once again and picked up a bell lying on the table, before ringing it very hard.

After a couple of minutes, the door opened, showing a new person. She is a woman wearing a green dress, unlike the other women in Sutherland Inn wearing a maid outfit, and had some years on her face; she was probably 30 or 35 years old…

The woman smiled as she picked the empty tray on the table, along with the comically large lid. "So, how did you guys like this hotel's Ama-Ama Dangos?"

Alice nodded at the Hotel's owner. Talking about food would have brought the good mood out of her, but this time she didn't feel like smiling due to Victor's childish revenge against her. "It was much more sugary than I expected, even though I knew I was eating a sweet snack. However, despite the sweet honey mixing up with the already-sweet dango, there are no faults I can make out from the taste. It is as if they actually merged together to bring out a new sweet flavor out of this."

"Hahaha, that is because of the special honey, sweetheart. That honey came directly from Happiness Village's honeycombs made by the local Bee Girls, so their taste is much different from your average honey." The woman looked proud as she announced that, although her expression turned gloomy as words flew out of her mouth.

"Unfortunately, it appears like Happiness Village found itself on a bad predicament, and can't find any men to take care of the hard work anymore. I am only the owner of this hotel, so I don't have any ability to help them out of this mess…" Suddenly, the woman's eyes widened.

"That's right! You have kept the Heavenly Knight out of this town, so I am sure you can deal with this problem very easily! Is it fine with you?"

Luka nodded with a determined expression on his face. "Yes, it's not a problem for us to go there and see the situation, right guys?" The others either ignored him or simply nodded in agreement.

The owner's eyes brightened in response. "Well then, have a nice rest." After saluting them, she brought the empty tray out of the room and closed the door behind her.

There was nothing else for them to do, so Victor turned towards everyone. "Anyway, where will you all go to sleep tonight?"

Suddenly, Alice smirked before she grasped Luka's shirt from the back and pulled him away before he could speak. "We'll take the bed, good night."

Victor raised an eyebrow at her sudden cheerfulness and shrugged. "So we only have two sofas now…"

"They can be turned into beds, too." Eva suggested, making Victor nod.

"Good, so we can split into two groups." Victor looked down on Penny and asked. "Who do you want to sleep with?"

"I want to be with you!" Penny rushed up to Victor in excitement, which made him chuckle a bit. It seems like he got in Penny's good side… 

He looked at Eva and asked. "Can you please help me bend the sofa?"

"Certainly." Eva agreed with his request and she turned both the sofas into makeshift beds. Penny jumped into one of them as Victor followed her, before he slowly shifted his body from the wheelchair to the edge of the bed. While he was putting himself comfortable, Eva approached the lanterns around the room and turned them off one by one, before ultimately reaching for her bed.

Victor put on a fluffy blanket that he took out from his inventory, covering both him and Penny, who was snuggling against his side like a puppy would.

"Good night!" Penny said, and Victor and Eva answered in kind before all of them closed their eyes to sleep.

*Creak!*

"Aieeee!"

*Creak!*

Victor gradually opened his eyes and shifted through the blanket until he turned towards the direction from where those weird sounds came from. Surprisingly, it came from the bedroom where Alice and Luka were in…

...Where the bed was creaking…

...Soft high-pitched moans came from…

...And a muffled 'Hora-Hora' sounded out…

Victor's eyes twitched in annoyance and tiredness once he got a clear idea of what was going on. Alice certainly got pissed off from seeing him eating a new kind of dish that she had never seen before, so she decided to get back at him by having sex with Luka loudly enough that he could hear Luka's weirdly-feminine moans.

Even if Eva would wake up along with him, she didn't care about it. As for Penny, although she is still sleeping behind him, it's not like he could just tell her about sex and everything…

Victor grunted in annoyance as he twisted his head back on the pillow and forced his eyes shut. They can't go for the entire night, right? Luka needs to be awake for tomorrow, so Alice can't keep him awake for the entire time.

"I wanted to warn you that we are already geared up to leave Iliasburg. You were sleeping before, so we didn't wake you up and left for some shopping before turning back here."

"...?" Victor blinked in surprise before he replied with a calm voice. "...Can you please give me some time to prepare myself?"

Luka shrugged. "No problem, we will wait for you in front of the hotel. Don't take too long, Granberia should also be waiting outside the city."

"Yeah, yeah…" Victor looked at his surroundings and noticed that everything was fixed back to how it was before, even the bed where he was sleeping was folded back to the sofa it was at the start, while his blanket and his pillow were still where they should be.

Goddammit Alice, taking away someone's sleep is a low blow.

While Luka was leaving from the room, Victor began to move over the sofa and stand on an upright position. Judging from what Luka had just told him, they already did everything that was necessary to do while he was sleeping… Shame, he was quite curious about how the city worked now that the monster invasion ended.

Victor opened his system and reached for his inventory, before sticking his blanket inside it. Before he closed it, something had caught his attention very quickly on the corner of the inventory tab.

There were also various symbols surrounding the circle and standing at the edges of the pentagram, along with the words 'HELLSING - HELLS GATE ARRESTED - GOVT MIT ONS - AND SHINE HEAVEN NOW' inside the pentagram in a circle formation.

Victor blinked a couple of times, and for an instant, he felt like the black substance that filled up the serum was staring at him, although there were no eyes inside it.

He simply has to drink this, and he will become a Vampire like Alucard… Immortal, Nigh-Invincible, Powerful, capable of changing shapes, and Undying…

As for his thirst of blood, he could buy a couple of blood serums from the system and he would be fine…

...But is this the correct way to take?

The answer is yes, this is the correct way to take. Become a True Vampire that is not limited by the normal weaknesses that other Vampires possess…

But is this the best way to take?

No… He had an idea of how this kind of stuff works. He would change race as soon as he ingested the liquid within the serum, with or without pain. And then, there is no turning back… Could he change his race once again? That was hard to say, and he didn't want to make any experiment on something so risky.

Is being a Vampire the best choice he can make?

There is also the Shinsou Vampire Serum carrying the blood of the other Alucard, from Rosario + Vampire. That is much more pricey, but even without doing anything, he could reach that amount of money by waiting for 500 hours, around 3 weeks or so.

Besides, does he have to stop at being a Vampire? Can't he be something… greater?

Efreet's Sephira Crystal, worth 61'099'247'324 Gold Coins. Its origin is Date a Live, and it has the greatest destructive power among normal Spirits. It also includes Fire Manipulation and is able to resurrect the user from death as long as they have enough energy. However, there will be a large chance that he can go berserk if he abuses its power.

...Meh, he can certainly deal with that part in some way. Still, that is a good target to aim for, considering that the power of a mere vampire wouldn't be enough to fight off great treats like Angels if they ever come knocking at his door in the future.

However, although he gave up the usage of the True Vampire Serum, that doesn't mean that he has to remain as a cripple. The point of the serum was so that he could begin to move with more freedom.

Victor sold off the serum, bringing his Gold Coins counter to 65'770. Once again, he scrolled through the store until he found the object of interest, and spent precisely 50'000 Gold Coins to possess that.

Magic, a questionable substance that humans only heard of, but monsters use it every day, either for choirs or for combat.

There are three types of Magics: 

Black Magic is not like its name suggests, and it is to be taken as a category rather than a type of magic. Black Magic includes spells related to Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Darkness, and it is entirely focused on the offensive aspect of Magic. If it can be used generally to attack and harm someone, then that is a Black Magic. For this reason, don't be intimidated by the word 'Black' mixed with Magic.

White Magic is like the previous category, but instead of focusing on the offensive aspect of Magic, it takes a rather defensive and supportive stance. However, that doesn't mean it is exclusively used to defend the caster; just like offensive spells can neutralize other offensive spells, these defensive spells can be used to distract the target or neutralize their influence on magic, or even movements. White Magic includes spells related to Wind, Earth, Water, and Light.

These are the two official categories of Magic that many monsters and wizards know of. However, only few monsters know of the third category that includes exclusively forbidden spells. These are spells created in the ancient times to assist their factions during the Great Monster War, and thus they have nothing to do with the present and peaceful era.

Chaos Magic is the name of this category, and it contains spells that cannot be dealt with in modern ways as they cannot be reflected, absorbed, or blocked. They don't follow the basic elemental system, and they are mostly spells that require a cost to be followed through before casting, or they are simply too powerful to utilize in the world under normal circumstances. The unique elements they represent and the basic elements they are connected to are:

Pleasure = Nightmare

Fire = Nuclear

Ice = Quantum

Lightning = Ion
