Alexis entered a spacious room. There was a comfortable looking armchair in the center of it, to a small table.

Woods crackle gently inside the fireplace. As soon as Alexis crossed the threshold, she felt a slightly tingling in her fringertips, she was hot, but not because of the fireplace, " it feel like her body knows something that she don't know". she shook her head trying to get rid of the feeling.

" this is a once in a lifetime opportunity." she thought " although she's probably an exception, considering her longevity.

" I hope you will be comfortable, have a seat" his voice came from a picth dark corner of the room. The darkness made it impossible to see what her partner look like.

she wanted to walked up to him, grab his hand, drag him into the light. Look at him in the eyes and dispel the aura of dramatic mystery around him.

Holding herself back, she sank into the soft armchair and crossed her legs. " Do you mind if I record our conversation" she asked him.

" No, we can start" he replied.

Alexis started the recording on her phone and she put it on the table. A silence step between them before she started her question.

Alexis looked into the dark corner, trying to make atleast the outline of the person she was talking to...
