Chapter 32

Philip didn't enter the room and kept on listening to their talks. "Why didn't you ever say anything?" Kelly began sobbing. "How could I? You were so happy with him. I know it's late but I just wanted to say that I loved you but my story just ends here." "Chase you have been a great person." "I have but he's better for you. He is the guy that you'll forever need." "But how will I be able to stay with him after your sudden confession." "He's good for you, trust me. He loves you alot. I won't leave I swear, I'll stay by your side as a supporter and a friend. You don't need to worry about losing me."

Philip quietly went back and yelled loudly. "Hey K! I got the clothes! Where are you?" Philip pretended like he didn't hear anything and as if he just entered the place. "Yeah coming!" Kelly yelled back trying to sound normal. Kelly entered the living room with a big smile plastered on her face. "Damn that was fast." Kelly cheerfully began. "I know right. I'm fast and-" "Furious?" "Nah hungry at the moment." "Oh c'mon then let's eat." "Let me pass the clothes to chase first." "Okay I'll be waiting and ask him if he wants something to eat." "Will be sure to do that." Philip entered the room to find Chase sleeping with his face turned away from him.

"Chase I brought you extra clothes. Change in it." "Yeah just leave it on the table for now." "Okay and K was asking if you want something to eat?" "Nah I'm just gonna sleep." "Okay then call me if you need anything." "Okay man." Philip closed the door behind him and joined Kelly in the living room. They quietly ate their meal and watched the movie. Philip was intently focusing on the movie when he felt a sudden weight on his arm. He looked at Kelly to find her asleep. He smiled to himself and then laid her properly on the sofa. He sat on the floor and watched her sleep. "You're so pretty. I swear I would give up anything to have you but not my friendship. You're my friend too but Chase and I go long way back. I don't want to lose him but I don't want to lose you either. You're the one who lights up my world. You make me smile and live. But Chase was the one swallowed up my darkness in order for you to be able to bring light in it." Philip's tears streamed down his face. "That's why I've decided to not confess my feelings and keep things as it is but before that happens let me just have this one moment with you." Philip then kissed her forehead and then wiped his tears.

He went back to watching the documentary and kept on binge watching other things till the next morning. The next morning Kelly woke up to find Philip sleeping in an uncomfortable position next to her. She woke him up and made him go back to his room. She then went back to her room and slept until a phone call disturbed her. She lazily picked it up and began, "Hey." "Hello Ms. Kelly?" "Yeah that's me." "It's me, the movie producer." "Oh yes sir." "Did I disturb you?" "No no. What's the matter?" "We're filming for the series so we were hoping if you could come to the set to observe the shoot." "Sure. Right now?" "Yes." "Okay I'll be there in five minutes." Kelly quickly woke up and got dressed in a blue denim jeans and a white collar. She tied her hair back in a ponytail and then quickly put on a black heel and left.

When she reached the set it was filled with commotion. Kelly rushed to meet the producer who welcomed her warmly. After the commotion died down the shoot began. The shoot went pretty smoothly and the actors did so well that it almost felt as if Kelly was rewatching her past through them. When the shoot was done, Kelly quickly left for her home. When she reached back she saw a note on the dinning table and it read, 'So? You ditched us and now we ditched you but we couldn't leave without leaving a note. Byee. From Chase and Phil.' Kelly laughed at the note.

She took a long bath and was finally ready to hit the sack when she got a call from Cindy. "Hello." Kelly began lazily. "Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!" "Shit Cindy! You almost blasted my ear drums. Use human language you alien." "OMG! GUESS WHAT!" "What? You sound as if you won a lottery." "She finally asked me." "What?" "She finally asked me to marry her!" "Really?!" "Yep! I'm over the moon!" "So am I! Gimme the details." "Okay so she took me out to this romantic dinner today. I was happily enjoying my meal when all of a sudden the couple next to us yelled in excitement saying that they were getting engaged. I was like 'So lucky.' And then she goes, 'You think so?' And I was like totally and that's when the other couple threw something in her direction." "I told you to narrate your wedding proposal not your girlfriend's fight scene." "Will you just listen?" "Go on." "At first I was like what is wrong with them but then I was relieved when she caught it. I don't know what it was and I was almost about to throw hands when she went down on both of her knees and said, 'Then let me make you feel that too. Babe, will you marry me?' And I was crying by that point but still manged to say a yes. I've send the picture to you." "Wait lemme check it out. Damn! That ring looks expensive." "It is."
