Quarrel; It broke;

Kerren didn't bother thinking too much about it. If this whole room felt the same as that ooze, why wont he try controlling it?

Maybe that was how he could solve it? It obviously wasn't the intended way to do so, but who cares? One must use whatever means to succeed!

Thus, he began trying to control it. It was harder than when he first tried to control mana! He spent a considerable amount of time trying to learn how to use it, and now he needed to do it again?

Kerren couldn't believe what was happening. He's supposed to be a reincarnated cheat character, why does he actually has to do something? He didn't even get random bullcrap bonus at the start!

Well, yes, he did get one which was mana control, but is that all he got!? Why is that other reincarnated people get lots of stuff for nothing, and he got one skill that wasn't ev... no, it is useful, but still!

That's insanely unfair!

Feeling this unfairness with his soul Kerren started trying even harder! His whole mind and body was angry because he actually has to work! How unfair that is!?

Several days later he finally made progress. Of course, he didn't sit there for several days straight, he also rested from time to time... Most of the time... It wasn't as hard as the initially thought, he spent around 4 hours in total...

Well, anyway, as he finally got the gist of it things started going in his way. At first, it wasn't something big, he could feel that something was special in this room... but where was it?

If he got closer the feeling got stronger, but... there was literally nothing but dust there! Was he supposed to pick one speck or something? What bullcrap is that?! Who would even pass that test!?

As he started looking at that particular spot Yusaya noticed it. From her perspective Kerren only lazed around, but now he looked like he found something! But... what was it? She couldn't feel anything there...

- Found anything?

She had to ask. Maybe this time he actually did find something?

- Not really, it's just that this spot feels funny. -- he couldn't move his gaze from it

- Let me see -- she said as she got closer to it.

To her surprise... This spot actually was special! She couldn't tell why, but she felt that it had something... Of course, her connection to it wasn't due to the black ooze or something like that, it was due to a skill she posessed.

It was a unique skill that allowed her to see things that are useful to her, it's called "Shine means good" and it did literally what the name implied.

Whatever was useful for Yusaya would shine with golden color. There were other variations of that skill, like "Shine means bad" that did exactly that, and "Shine mean think" which was the lower version that didn't specify whether it was good or bad.

Of course, there were superior version of that skill but it's not like you want me to ramble for a long time again, do you? So, lets conitnue with whatever is going on here.

As Yusaya saw that a particular speck of dust shined with nice golden color she had a desire to touch it immediately! However, as she was about to do so... Kerren held her arm!

- Dont touch that, i found it first. -- he said with a somewhat hard voice -- I'm obserwing it not because i cant see it, get lost. -- he didn't actually see which one was the right one.

- So that's who you are! -- she was greatly dissapointed in him -- To think that i thought that you'll help me, duh!

She was right, Kerren was an asshole who took everything for himself, it's not like he tried to hide it.

- You had several weeks to find it, and even with your skill you weren't able to, and now that i found it you want to take it for yourself? Dream on.

He was, obviously, right as well, but did that mean that one of them was good and one was bad? Nope. Remember what i said about those concepts? Yep, that's what it is, it's life.

- So what? I found the room so the reward is mine!

- Yeah, i have a feeling u've already been here and since you couldn't find whatever you needed to do you called me here, didn't you?

After hearing that Yusaya didn't say anything for a few seconds, and then...

- I've been here before, so what? You want to take it because i didn't want to share with you first or something? -- she was now visibly upset with Kerren, or maybe with herself?

- Listen, i dont even need that thing, i've knew how to complete this mission since i first came to the dungeon itself. -- he made up another thing -- You might ask why i haven't done that yet? Because there's a reason for everything, chill out somewhere and let me do my thing. -- He didn't want to bother withher, thus he tried to make it look like he was above her in all regards. It wasn't true at all.

- In your dreams! Let me take it or you'll regret it! -- she placed her hand on the sword as she said it.

- Bahahahah! -- as Kerren felt it he started laughing -- What can YOU do? Call your grandpa or whoever the f*kk is backing you and maybe then i'll give you what you want! -- he didn't hold back.

- Oh? So you know about my family? Great, then you must know that this planet is nothing to us, why must you become our enemy? -- she asked him with a smile.

Kerren didn't know what to say. He was stupefied! What family? Which planet is nothing? What the f*kk is she even talking about? Was she a f*kking alien or something?

Well... that would explain some things, but... She must be trying to bullcrap her way out... What if she's not?..

Thousands of different thought assaulted Kerren's mind, which made his expression fade gradually. It made Yusaya concerned for some reason, as if all she said just now was a joke.

- Are you okay? What happened? -- she came closer to him and tried to understand at least something...

- F*kk off! -- he violently waved his hand, pushing her back -- Dont touch me! I told you i dont need your bullcrap reward! Just let me do my thing! -- he couldn't keep calm as something definitely was wrong with his body.

He couldn't understand the reason but when we thinking just now he felt as if something broke inside of him! It scared him and he started thinking even more, which made even more damage!

It was an endless cycle! Kerren could barely get out of it, thus the violent response! Of course, he didn't care for her feeling as... it's a long story for another time...

He didn't think for a while, trying to stabilize whatever it was, however it didn't help. Soon, great pain assaulted his mind! As if something was eating him from the inside!

He examined his soul but couldn't find anything, which wasn't a surprise since mental attack weren't his profile! In case something was wrong with his body he examined it aswell...

The thing became much bigger! At least twice the size it was before! It looked like it was trying to replace all of the mana in his body, thus it harmed Kerren's soul, as it was basically replacing his soul with itself!

Kerren didn't know what to do, it was only pain for him now! He couldn't think, move, or even scream! All he could do was... nothing, he could barely even move...

In a desperate attempt to change something he tried to think with whatever part that was still his and...

Yusaya touched that particular speck of dust! They were immediately teleported outside!
