Gluttonous Kerren!

As he said, he scenery around him changed...

He could see lots of best dishes around him!

Some he couldn't understand, as they were gigantic!

On the opposite side of the arena he saw... Himself!

[Show the world that your gluttony is unmatched!]

[Show the world that you are ready to devour all!]

[Show the Gods that they are next!]

He saw some system windows after a second.

He understood what the fight truly was, in was just a scenario!

He needed to eat more than his reflection, or whatever it was!

However, he also understood that nothing could be so simple! If he needed to eat some - it was easy, but could a boss fight be just that?

He even thought about not eating anything at all, as he was supposed to fight "Gluttony", it didn't say anything about him eating more than it.

Maybe he needed to literally fight his own gluttony?

Well, it's not like he needed to eat anyway, so it was easy as hell for him! Why even bother?

However, he still wanted to taste some of it, it couldn't be called gluttony if you ate just a bit and then stopped? It would only be polite to show that u're indeed interested in those things!

Any chef would want people to eat whatever he made!

As such, Kerren got closer to one of the dihes.

It was an exquisite looking steak on a plate! There were some faint traces of mana around it, but before Kerren had time to think about it he noticed that such mana was all around the other dishes as well!

He didn't think too much about it and took the steak with his hands. They didn't give him any cutlery, did they?

Thus, he started eating it just like that. To his surprise it was insanely tasty, far better that anything he ate in his life!

But, what surprised him the most is that... It increased his mana capacity! Not only that, it seemed to refine it, make it purer and better than it was before!

Kerren couldn't even understand what the change was, but he could feel it, since, well, he was basically a lump of mana!

His whole body felt lighter and stronger!

Then, when he ate the whole steak he wondered...

-* Are they all like that?

Thus, he look another dish beside him, it was just some ice cream in a fancy goblet, he didn't know who would eat it like that, but he didn't care that much.

To his surprise it was the same! It also increased his mana capacity!

After that... Kerren didn't think too much about the consiquences of his action. He started to eat, devour and laugh while he did that.

He didn't even bother to chew his food as he modified his body to simply gulp everything up as a whole!

After a while he ate almost half of it, to his surprise that clone of his didn't eat even a half of what he ate!

It didn't matter to him if he failed the boss fight or not, but if he could win it AND get some free increase of his mana-capacity?

Some more time later Kerren ate everything he had on his side. It wasn't enough.

He wanted more! His opponent still had a fair share of food... His food!

He jumped right on it and started eating everything he saw, plates, bones, everything he could put in his mouth!

Even if he couldn't? He would just make it bigger and force it to go in!

Of course, there were dishesh that were too much... Kerren simply slashed them with his mana wave and only then ate whatever was left!

He was satisfied! His mana capacity was now almost double from what it was before! It was one of the happiest days of his life!

Even if he lost the boss fight?.. So what!? He will just tell Yusaya where this place is and tell her to fight the boss!

If it didn't allow him to repeat it, of course.

After a while even his opponents side was empty... He didn't know what else he could do so he ran back to his side and ate all of the plates he had left!

They increased his mana aswell! What a blessing!

However, even after doing that nothing changed. The system didn't announce the result and Kerren started thinking about it.

What could be the reason...

Then, he heard that his "reflection" did something, it simply fell on the ground as it stumbled on something...

When Kerren looked at what exactly it stumbled it was... A piece from the floor?

He curiously watched down.

-* What's wrong with it?..

He then tried to touch it... To his surprise it was... Soft?..

He took a piece and put it in his mouth... It tasted like the most exquisite biscuit he ever ate in his life!

-* Okay

Kerren grinned, but as he was about to start eating the floor...

A thought appear in his mind... Why must he share?

His reflection ate too! Why did it do that? It wasn't even real!

As such, Kerren jumped on his own reflection... While he was eating it... It tasted like steak! The best steak he ever ate! Better that any previous dish here!

What a blessing it was!

After finishing up Kerren started eating the floor... Then the walls, then... everythin he could see...
