Moon Manipulation

After Draco gave his forces their pay, he dismissed everyone to go find a servant.

He needed to have someone show him around the palace facilities.

Draco wanted to find a room he could use for experiments, and another empty room large enough for an idea he had.

He found a servant walking down the hallway and flagged them down.

Luckily, they spoke at least some english. Draco managed to tell them what he wanted, and the servant began to lead him through the palace halls.

They went through several long corridors before stopping before a large metal door.

Opening the door, Draco saw that it was filled with various science apparatuses. This wasn't quite what he was looking for though, but he remembered where this room was to tell his scientists about it.

The next room the servant led him to was a wide room filled with a row of hospital beds.

The beds had metal clamps where the wrists and legs were, and there was a plexi-glass window on the other end of the room.

'This will do perfectly.' Draco thought to himself, seeing that he had found a room intended for progenitor-serum injection.

After leaving this room, the servant took Draco to a corridor that opened up into a wide hall.

There were racks of training weapons lining the hall's exterior, and rows of training dummies sat on one end of the hall.

'This must be the royal family's personal training hall.' Draco realized.

The hall had an elaborate living painting on the high ceiling. This mural depicted an ancient battle, and Draco watched thousands of powered soldiers clash into each other in bloody combat.

The floor was also made of opulent white marble, and overall this chamber was quite fancy for a training room.

'A little lavish for my tastes, but it will suit my purposes.' thought Draco, turning to leave the hall.

He went back to the residential chambers and summoned his soldiers.

Before the servant left, he told them to summon a training instructor. Most of the prince's forces had already left for the battle of Tripoli, but he knew there would still be some personnel remaining.

The servant soon returned with a bald and muscular man who went by the name of Jalal.

Draco showed Jalal his royal seal and told the man to train his troops to the best of his abilities, giving him permission to use the royal family's training hall.

He also told the man to focus on strength and endurance training, to prepare them for pro-serum injection.

Draco knew that many of them would likely die in the process, so he wanted them to be prepared for the gruesome trials they would face.

Jalal bowed as he left with Draco's soldiers in tow.

Draco then had the servant take the scientists to the lab room, for he figured they could pass time in there.

Draco intended to check in on their progress later, but right now he wanted to go over the loot he had acquired back in Tripoli.

Heading back into his residence, Draco cleared away space in the main living room by moving the couches and coffee table out of the way.

Once there was a large opening in the middle of the room, Draco instructed Harry to drop all of the artifacts and scrolls he had acquired from the royal treasury.

A pile of sparkling and shining artifacts appeared in the room with a green flash.

The combined aura of so many powerful artifacts in one place created a pressure so strong it leaked out the room's door.

Draco took a deep breath, and then asked Harry if he was able to identify the items for him.

'I can do so, but I will need to return to my original form.' he said.

'Okay, go ahead.' Draco responded.

Draco's green bracelet then began to glow, and it disappeared into a stream of green light that flew towards the ground and coalesced into Harry's true form.

Harry held out a hand and green energy surrounded a black sword, causing it to float into the air.

"This sword is a standard-grade artifact. Those pierced by this sword are imbued with a deadly poison." said Harry.

After Draco nodded Harry moved on to the next item.

"This pair of gauntlets are a high-grade artifact. They are able to absorb the blood and life-force of those who are touched by them."

As Harry went through the pile of artifacts, he identified a total of seven high-grade artifacts and three standard-grade artifacts.

There was a helmet that gave its wielder the ability to detect lies, and even a pair of boots that let its wearer float for a short time!

The helmet looked like something a medieval knight would wear. It had an open front with a chain-link mesh that was supposed to fit over your mouth.

The boots sounded too enticing for Draco not to try them on though. He took off his own shoes and slid the boots on.

He was wondering how to make the boots float, but as soon as the thought crossed his mind Draco was abruptly lifted into the air.

Draco had to wave his arms around to stabilize himself, and it took him a full minute of wobbly movements to get the hang of it.

It seemed like these boots would raise you as high as you wanted. Draco floated all the way towards the ceiling until he smacked his head against it.

He would have to test them later to determine how high they would let them go.

When Draco thought about landing, the boots lowered him down onto the floor. He decided to keep these boots on, for they could serve to get him out of many dangerous situations.

One of the other high-grade artifacts Harry had identified was a small dagger that could fly wherever Draco wanted it to. This sounded incredibly useful, so Draco was eager to try it out.

Draco reached over and picked the dagger up. It had a green blade that was adorned with golden lines and a solid gold handle.

Draco tossed the Dagger into the air, mentally instructing it to fly in circles in the middle of the room.

He didn't know what he was expecting, but he was still stunned to see it do just that.

The dagger flew around the room at a dangerous speed, and when Draco told it to return to him it flew towards him and slowed down before it reached his position.

The other weapons also had impressive abilities, but they were much too unwieldy to keep on him at all times. This dagger would fit nicely inside of his robes, and it was simply too useful to not have on him.

Draco stashed the dagger within his robes, and he was surprised to see the weapon's aura disappear once it was inside of them.

This reminded Draco to ask Harry about his robes.

"Harry, what can these robes do? They don't have any aura."

Harry scanned Draco's robes before replying, "These seem to be based off of the Khalid Dynasty's savior robes. They have the same feature of hiding their wearer's aura, and they smother any aura released by weapons hidden within them."

The automaton continued, "It is a high-grade artifact, so it has the additional effect of giving its wearer enhanced mental clarity. It will also protect you from high falls, as well as lightening your body to allow for swifter movements."

Draco whistled, "It's definitely an upgrade from the savior robes I lost back in the Ahmar cage."

He then looked towards Harry, "Alright, that's it for the artifacts."

Draco walked up to one of the scrolls on the floor, "Can you tell me what these are for? What's up with all of these diagrams of the human body on them?"

Harry's white eyes began to glow as he analyzed the scroll.

"These are body arts. The Libyan royal family has practiced these techniques for generations."

Draco's eyes widened, 'Body arts? I remember Demetri said something about those back in that cursed forest.' he thought to himself.

"What does this one do?" Draco asked.

"This scroll outlines a technique for breathing underwater." said Harry.

That sounded useful, but Draco was curious about the other scrolls. Hopefully one of them had something he could use in combat.

"Tell me about this one." Draco commanded.

"This scroll outlines a technique to allow its user to walk on water." explained Harry.

'What gives?! Why does this desert country have so many water related body arts?' Draco wondered in exasperation.

The next one seemed more interesting, for it allowed the user to compel unpowered humans to follow their every order.

It required its user to train their vocal cords to say words with a certain frequency, and it involved learning an entirely new language.

Draco could only imagine the potential for mischief with this scroll, but he still wanted something that could enhance his combat abilities.

"Harry, do none of these have anything for fighting?" Draco asked.

Harry looked towards the last scroll, analyzing it with his energy.

"This scroll outlines a combat technique. It describes a technique that utilizes the gravitational forces of the moon to direct them towards an opponent."

Now this sounded like an amazing technique. Draco told Harry to tell him more about this body art.

"This body art is named Qamar Ihtala, its translation is Moon Manipulation." said Harry.

Harry continued, "There are four stages of this technique. The first two involve mediation under the moon until you can feel its gravitational pull towards the Earth. The third stage will allow you to manipulate this gravity and direct it towards someone else."

"It says that the side effects of this are tsunamis and hurricanes forming in nearby oceans." warned Harry.

"The final stage of this technique involves mastery of this gravitational manipulation. It will allow you to choke opponents by focusing gravitational forces around their neck. You can lift people into the air by lowering the gravity around them, or even throw them at incredible speeds." finished the automaton.

"Holy sh*t! That's basically the force isn't it?" Draco exclaimed.

"I am unaware of what this 'force' is." replied Harry.

Draco ignored the automaton though, for he was busy imagining the possibilities of such a powerful technique.
