SURVIVAL

They hung around the place, watching the captives being taken into the tent, until darkness covered. The next thing was to look for a way to reach them unseen, because there were some armed men standing around the tent.

Six and Kahil led them in stealthily towards the entrance of the tent, which was manned by two men. They hid by a corner, then Six and Kahil took down the men from behind by breaking their necks, gently laying them down.

They all entered the tent, but saw no one there. Looking beside them, they saw a curtain that led to another room in the tent and they got in. They saw the captives with ropes around their hands and bands on their mouths.

They began to make groaning sounds when they came in, shaking their heads briskly, asin they shouldn't have come for them.

Marie stood confused why they were against them coming, until the curtains opened and they saw four men standing there. They all stood back in fear while the men came in.

They recognized the one in front, he was the one that demanded the serum from Fern. Six scowled immediately he saw him.

"The rest of you would have just proceeded the way we left you," the man said.

"Who sent you to take the serum from us?" Six asked with a grave voice.

He laughed. "You really want to know? Don't you think there are several others on the same journey as you?"

"What do you mean by that?" Marie came forward, asking.

"The missing serum from the hiona wolf is a highly-sought liquid. Anyone that has it in one's position holds a liquid diamond," he said. "The US government has placed a very tasty reward on whomever returns the serum to the hiona wolf successfully."

"You could be happy now being in possession of the serum, but do you have what it takes to reach the hiona wolf?" Itsuki asked.

"Oh no, I'm so not going close to the hiona wolf, what I would do is sell it off," he said.

"I think it's at this point things got out of hand," Kahil said, breathing hard. Marie placed her palm on his pumping chest to calm him.

"And who's buying this serum?" Marie asked.

"You so don't want to know --" he paused a bit. "Now I think it's high time I took out the remaining hurdles on my way." He dashed his head sideways and the two men behind him came to attack them, but Itsuki transformed immediately, giving a deadly growl, his yellow eyes flashing a firey glow in the dark. The men went two steps back.

"Woah, werewolves," the man said. "Which one are you, genetically transformed or subjected?"

Itsuki dashed at him immediately, but he held Itsuki up and threw him against a table that was in the room, transforming into a very gruesome-looking werewolf.

"This is a subjected one, going to be very hard on us," Six said, transforming as well, followed by Kahil.

Glowie jumped at one of the men behind, sent him crashing to the ground and bit off his ear, while the other ran away in fear.

Kahil and Six, both werewolves now, dived at the subjected werewolf to fight him, but he held them on their necks and lifted them off the ground gradually.

Unaware, Itsuki pounced on him from behind and gave him some rapid clawings on his neck. He yelled and dropped Six and Kahil. He reached over his shoulders to grab Itsuki and slam him against the opposite wall, but Itsuki was very fast to maneuver his grip, went below him and gave him the same rapid clawings on his gonads. He yelled and fell to his knees, clenching his gonads which was dripping blood.

Meanwhile, Marie had already set the captives loose, and while the werewolf writhed in pain, they all ran out of the tent without their weapons, because all they needed was to flee from captivity.

On their way going, they began to hear sporadic shootings. They hastened their pace, but when Trevor shouted and grabbed his lap, they knew he had been shot. Kahil and Six took him up by his armpits and they all entered the woods.

Inside the woods they kept hearing footsteps around, but they walked silently, while Trevor held himself from yelling out in pain. They found a very dark place at an area that was densely crowded with trees and hid there, watching the flashes of torches in the woods searching for them.

The torches began to point their way and they knew they'd be seen. Kahil and Six nodded at each other, then they transformed to werewolves and began to growl loudly, dashing from tree to tree to scare the men away. Kahil pounced on one of the men and angrily tore his tummy open. He gave a deafening yell before he fell dead, while the rest took to their heels.
