The next three days were filled with training her magic and meditating. Evelyn was thankful for the guidance she was receiving from Kallista. She could feel the connection to her magic more fully and her confidence was growing. She had not looked at the journal since that night because she did not want it to distract her from her progress. Porta followed her everywhere and she was thankful for the company. She was still unsure of all that Porta would be able to do, but she had no doubt that with time she would become a great asset to her. They were just finishing up her lesson for the day when Clyde walked into the training grounds. She had not seen much of him lately, but she figured that was because he had been away from his work for some time following her to the Fae kingdom.
"I have a letter from your father," he said and handed her a small envelope. "I thought that you might like to read if once you are finished."
