It was night time when Flourel was awakened by another fuss outside of her room.
"The monsters are here!!" One of the knights shouted.
"Prepare the cannon!!" The voice of the commander can be heard from miles away that it even reached Flourel's ears.
With troubled look on her face, Flourel immediately jumped up to her feet and slammed the door open.
"S-Saintess!" The two knights guarding her door looked at her in surprise.
"You don't need to go this time Saintess. We were told that you need to rest" one of the two knights bowed and told her.
Looking at them Flourel frowned and looked straight in their eyes.
"I don't have time for that" Flourel said and tried to walk pass them but the knights blocked her way while shaking their head.
"You've already done so much for today. You must be tired by now" One of the knights said.
"I can't be bothered to lie down while everyone is fighting for their lives" she insisted and managed to walked pass them.
The two knights who knew what she's feeling silently gaze at her back with determination in their eyes to protect her.
The two knights followed her behind as they walked out of the castle to witness the fights between the monsters and the soldiers and knights.
Seeing so many bloodied men in the battle Flourel immediately closed her eyes and folded her hands in a prayer.
Then astrong and bright golden light emitted from her body covering the whole place and healing all the injured men and also weakening the monsters that touched the light.
Knowing that the healing was Flourel's doing, all the knights who received her grace looked at her way with shock in their eyes.
But instead of letting themselves get distracted the men immediately focused in the battle with much eager feelings to win.
"Protect the Saintess!!!"
"Thank you Saintess Flourel!!"
All of them shouted as they sliced the enemy and causing the enemy's dark red blood to stain the ground more.
More monster bodies piled up along with injured men getting their limbs cut then healed by Flourel.
The battle lasted for a long time until it was dawn and everyone is exhausted.
"I-It's over...." Flourel mumbled as the sight of the rising sun slowly looms over the dark sky.
For the second time 20th time Flourel fell unconscious because of using too much of her power.
All the exhausted knights who manage to keep themselves awake witnessed her falling body so they immediately run to her way to catch her.
"Saintess!!"
All of their shout calling for her name contained sadness and worriedness.
But the first person to catch her was someone who did not participate iin the fight.
"Seriously... Why do you keep doing this" He mumbled as he stared at Flourel's sleeping face.
Her clothes and hair looked like a mess but her beauty could be seen clearly despite that.
"Captain you're back!" One of the soldiers who recognized him said.
"Sir Sevir *Bows* I'll take the Saintess to her room myself" one of the knights assigned to guard Flourel reached their hands but Sevir only looked at him wihtout sayiing anything and carried the Saintess himself.
The knight who was ignored frowned and clicked his tongue as he looked in dismay at the sleeping Flourel.
Sevir who reached Flourel's room immediately saw the few maids that were assigned to take care of her.
In a panic they opened the door for him and immediately scurried away to find a towel and water to clean the body of the unconscious Saintess and to also fetch her a change of clothes.
Being left alone with Flourel Sevir laid her down gently in the bed and fixed her hair.
He then smiled and kissed her forehead lightly as he stood up to let the maids take care of her.
"We'll prepare a meal for her after she wakes up" the head maid said as she bowed her head to him.
Sevir nodded as he silently looked back at Flourel's sleeping body.
Then he turned and continued heading to the commander's office to relay the news he discovered.
In the office where three commanders and four other captains are present Sevir went inside and placed down the report that he wrote himself.
All the people present in the office picked up the paper and read it silently.
Their eyes then widened and looked at Sevir.
"So it's confirmed then" one of the commanders mumbled as his griped on the paper hardened.
"To think that the labyrinth would appear in this time..." The other commander mumbled with a grim look.
"Thank you for your service Captain Sevir Leon, you may go now and take an ample of rest. Be prepared to set out anytime when you're needed" the third commander said as he nodded his head.
Sevir receiving the order humbly followed and went back to his chambers.
"We need to report this to his majesty and call over the Crown Prince" one of the commander said while the others sighed and reluctantly agreed.
"Should we tell the other Kingdoms about its existen---"
At the commander's question, the other commander simply shook his head indicating that they will keep this information to themselves.
Despite the gravity of the situation because of the labyrinth's appearance, it is still a valuable asset to a Kingdom as the labyrinth holds precious resources that they can gather anytime once they found the entrance to it.
Letting the other Kingdom know about its existence means that your letting go of your riches to a possible enemy.
"For now the arrival of the crown prince is needed as he is the descendant of the Hero Rimelov. Without his help it would be impossible to find the entrance to the labyrinth"
The commander said as he looked at one of the captains that are with them.
"You go and do it" he ordered so the captain with brown golden hair nodded.
For every generation it has been the duty of the Royal family of the Rimeheldra kingdom to participate in fighting in the labyrinth and possibly contribute in closing it.
Since the founder who did the same was blessed by the god to have the ability to sense the monsters.
And with that power he was able to establish the Rimeheldra Kingdom through the riches he gained from the labyrinth and also the people he gathered by saving them.
The labyrinth that is known to be the Forefather of the monsters or The Abyssal Hell that is the home of the monsters are like a raging volcano.
It houses the monsters that comes to annihilate every living beings on land and closes its door and opens up whenever it feels like it.
Like a volcano it can remain dormant or become active anytime it wants and whenever it remain dormant the number of monsters that it houses inside can multiply rapidly.
It is said that the longer the labyrinth sleeps, the stronger the monsters inside of it will become while the numbers will also be too overwhelming that it can destroy the world once they all marches out.
The Labyrinth also covers the entirety of the underground world that it even exist under the ocean floor.
Labyrinth is said to have a consciousness of a monster and is recorded as the largest monster in the world as it size can be estimated to be much bigger than all the existing continent when combined.
Even after a hundred thousand of years since its existence, not once did the humans were able to dive deeply into the entirety of a labyrinth.
Whenever it opens, the humanity can only cover up to 3% of its size even if they dedicate themselves in hunting there for a thousand years.
The hightest recorded number of the labyrinth being opened is up to 300 years before it decided to sleep.
Now that it is open again no one can predict when it will close up again.
A labyrinth is somthing that is filled with dangerous monsters and the deeper you go in, the more you will get lost and lose yourself.
After all it's located in the underground where the sky could not be seen nor the light and gust of winds could reach it.
The only beings that was able to live in it was vicious monsters that only lived by killing each other and terrorizing the whole world in the upper ground.
It was even said that the labyrinth holds a lot of catastrophic monster that can destroy the world but has not yet been discovered since they never showed up in the first place.

I am currently sipping my drink and looking out of the window while enjoying the breeze that gently touches my face.
From the third floor of the library I can see the view of the other houses from here.
I looked at Flourel's story earlier and it seems like she fainted after a long night of fighting the monsters.
And even though it's already nearing to lunch time she's still not awake and seemed to be passed out.
While all of us slept peacefully to get ready for the opening party today, the others in the West borders are dying.
Flourel, because she's a Saintess that can heal she thinks like she has to shoulder everything and has been trying her best while in the battlefield.
She looks like she wants to be useful to everyone else that even if she passes out from overworking she will still think that she's not doing enough.
I sighed as I continued to sip my drink.
Progenitors are meant to watch over the world, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to interfer at all with the lives of other people.
If it's her destiny to die in the war against the monsters.... I wonder if I should remain silent until the end.
Right, I never read anything about the story of the other progenitors before me so I don't really know how they lived.
When reading the story life of others, I need to know their name first before I can manually search through a dictionary like lists of names of every living being in the Book of Life before I can read their book.
Well there's a record about the species of the dragons, elves, fairies, and dwarves that used to coexist amongst the humans but none knows that those races came from a single being which is the progenitor.
So I can't tell if the other progenitors even have names in the first place or if they named themselves, or a family named them just like myself or if they received a name from God himself?
Anyways there's no book written about the existence of a progenitor and if they ever did I won't even know that it's them.
The people here don't even know that the elves of today used to be humans from the very beginning but after receiving the progenitor's blessings, their appearance then changed into an entirely new being.
