Little Rozana part 2

Becky now knew that they were coming for her but why? Thinking that she ran as fast as she could. After running for ages she stopped in front of the forest. Watching the dense and long trees, she was thinking whether it was safe to enter or not.

holding Rose in her arms she was panting when she heard a chuckle. turning around she saw a winger with red eyes and bat wings, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth as he smirked.

"Afraid? It's ok after some time you will feel nothing. now come here."

That creature was standing 10 steps away from Becky but she can still smell blood from it. She took a step back but realising that there were nowhere to run, a terrific feeling rose in her heart.

Suddenly she felt Rose moving a little as she was gaining consciousness. Becky quickly hid her in arms, blocking her eyes & thinking of ways to scape. Then she saw the winger taking small and slow steps to her, it was like teasing her that no matter what it's impossible to scape now.

"Becky? quickly run!"

She heard a faint voice of Adam as he was far from the scene. It's like she found a hope, she quickly ran to Adam. The Winger was standing between them so she had to avoid it but hearing Adam's voice that creature also turned around to see.

That give Becky a chance to run. Half concious Rose saw the creature but not clearly. The creature gazed directly into her eyes mocking her but all Rose can see was blurry image of someone standing.

Becky was running so she didn't realise that the Winger didn't move a single step and Adam was watching as Becky and Rose were coming to him.

When Becky was few steps away from Adam, she suddenly stopped. Anyone can see fear into her eyes while looking at Adam. Not understanding what, Adam came closer to Becky. But only forwarding after two steps he was grabbed by neck.

"Acckk.....Ack.....aaaaccckkk" these were the only voices coming from Adam.

At that time Becky saw the wingers one in front and one behind laughing. Adam was almost out of the breath. Tearful Becky cried "please leave him. someone save us...save us.... someone please save us."

Hearing Becky's cry half concious Rose looked up from her arms to see her and said in small voice, "Mamma don't cry...The wound is not hurting much." Although it's not hurting very much but for a small girl like her it was very painful to have this type of wound.. the way she comforted ,Becky feel very emotional and tightened her hold on Rose and hid her in her arms again blocking her eyes to see anything. With a determined look she cried her lungs out for help and took a step to attack the wingers.

Before she could reach, the winger holding Adam, bite him on his neck and started sucking blood. Becky's eyes widened to see the scene in front of her eyes. Her world stopped at that moment.

Faint voices of people's shouting and running still coming from afar. But neither she could hear or listen anything nor can say anything. Rose who heard Becky stop shouting, so she looked up to stare at her face again.Suddenly sound of horse whining can be heard from afar.... coming to her senses while panicking ..... Becky and Rose both looked at the direction where the voices were coming saw a number of people coming on horses. Some had bow and arrows while some had guns in their hands. The wingers eyes narrowed watching them.

"People from assembly... They .....They are here!" Becky finally got some hope as they are the only people who can save them from wingers. Rose was still a little wounded girl, trying to understand the situation. She heard assembly men so with interest she saw them coming furiously and silently observed them.

As they were approaching fast, one of the man shoot the Winger who was holding the neck of Adam and Becky ran to him. Hearing the loud sound of gun Rose also sat up straight on the ground, blood was still dripping from her head but not very much as the it was dried on the wound.

As Becky was busy stabilizing Adam , didn't see the other winger coming to Rose dangerously.

"Mamma!" Rose cried as the other winger grab her from neck and flew away in hurry.

Hearing Rose's voice she turned around only to see flipping wings on the sky that were impossible to reach.

"Rose....Rozana.... Rozana....Give her back....you monster.....my Rose..." Becky started running and shouting after the winger from the ground.

"Quick, Go after them." One of the man from assembly seemed like leader ordered," Make sure to kill and burn him. I'm to going to the fair to see the situation there." As there were many wingers it's necessary to go there as there were many people to rescue.

Two of the assembly people one was a woman of age about Twenty four and other was a man of age about thirty , turned their horses to the direction of Rose.

Becky saw the horses ran past her to the direction of Rose, panting heavily she adjusted her breath while running. But upon hearing Adam's weak voice she stopped, turned around.

He was still lying on the ground weakly, marks of vampire's fingers and teeth were horribly visible on his neck. Becky was in dilemma on where to go. One was her husband for five years and other was a small girl who was calling her mother for years.

Adam was feeling suffocated as he moved his hand, gesturing her to come but stopped halfway, suddenly his black eyes started changing colour to red.

One assembly man who was there immediately pointed his gun to Adam's head. Standing far from Adam Becky clearly saw this and ran to him...

"Stop!.... stop! ...what are you doing?"
