__________Grian's POV__________
'Dear Hermits, another night has passed, and the werewolves decided to take down the beating heart of the town. I'm sorry to bring the bad news, but your dear Sheriff has died.' Ren gives the group a sad look, before raising his voice dramatically, 'Bdubs, just before thou inevitably died, thee crawled over to thy desk and wrote thy testament. To whom belongs the name written on the paper? Who shall follow thy footsteps and become the next sheriff?'
While the others are grinning because of Ren's silliness, Bdubs seems to ponder this for a while. It would almost be suspicious if it weren't for the fact that he's already eliminated from the game.
'C'mon Bdubs, we ain't got all day dude. Your gonna die any second now, tell us, who is in the testament!'
'Uhm... Grian. He's the next sheriff.' Bdubs says, slightly bewildered.
'And just like that, the old sheriff blew out his last breath. His body slumped on his desk, and that's how the villagers found him that morning: dead, head resting on the table. Even though they were devastated by the death of their beloved sheriff, they also celebrated, for a new sheriff was chosen. Congratulations Grian! Let's hope Bdubs made a wise choice. Now, let the voting commence!'
Immediately, Tango speaks up: 'Please, I'm telling you, Grian is lying! He is not the little girl!'
'Sure thing, Tango, then why did he know that Mumbo was a werewolf?' Cub asks.
'I don't know! I don't know how the man has done it! All I know is that I'm the little girl, and Grian is lying!' He exclaims.
'Okay. We get your point, but what if you're lying about Grian lying? You haven't given is any actual reason to suspect Grian.' False retorts.
'Wha-… okay. Fair. That's true. But don't say I didn't warn you. The man's a werewolf I'm telling you.' Tango looks defeated.
'Okay, ignoring the fact that I just got accused out of the blue...' Grian begins, 'Doc, would you stop looking this intently and suspicious at me? I feel like a prey, almost literally.' he chuckles.
'Huh?' Doc replies, 'No, I'm not.'
'You totally were! I don't know mate, but I feel threatened!' Grian dramatically runs and hides behind Cleo, who is basically on the other side of the room. The hermits on the couch simultaneously burst out laughing, chuckling over Grian's antics.
Cleo smacks him on the forehead. 'Man up you big baby! You scared of Doccy over there? Go fight him like the man you are.'
'O-kay. If you say so.' Grian rushes over to Doc and climbs on his shoulders. 'C'mere you big bad creeper man!'
'Oh yeah, you gonna defeat me. I'm scared.' Doc dryly says. Then, he stands up, lifting Grian with him. 'AAAAAAAAAAAAH I SURRENDER I SURRENDER!!!' Grian yells.
'Nope, you've signed your demise, accept it.' Doc grins, and starts to tickle Grian, making sure the smaller doesn't fall of his shoulders.
'NO NO NO PLEASE DOC HELP AHAHAHAAA I CAN'T I TOLD YOU I SURRENDERED GET ME OFF GET MEEEEE OOOOOOOOOOOFF!!!!!' Grian wheezes, barely being able to breathe properly, the Hermits absolutely losing it over Grian's predicament.
'You wanna get off?' Doc snickers.
'YES' Grian retorts.
'At your service.' With that, Doc throws Grian from his shoulders, in the air, catching him just before he lands.
'AAAAAAAAAAAH DOC' Grian exclaims in fear. As soon as he regains his composure, he quickly walks back to his place on the ground, but not before punching Cleo on her shoulder.
'Okay, no kidding, GOAT man...' Grian says, still bewildered. Doc grins in response. After everyone has calmed down a bit, he continues: 'But on a serious note, Doc, you did stare at me a bit intense mate, what's up with that?'
'I dunno G-man, but the whole reason I'm looking at you suspiciously, is about as obvious as it gets, you ARE suspicious.' Doc says.
'What? Why am I suspicious? May I point out that I've found Mumbo for y'all? Why would I sacrifice one of my brethren if I were a werewolf?' Grian asks.
'One, no offense G, you would absolutely do that, and two, when are you not suspicious?' Doc laughs.
'I'M OFFENDED.' Grian gasps, 'Then how come that you would be able to pinpoint when exactly I'm really suspicious, if I'm suspicious all the time?'
'Because you're acting even more suspicious than normal.'
'If anything, YOU are suspicious right now, because you haven't been able to give an actual reason for your suspicions.'
'Guys. Dudes. Peeps. Please stop,' Etho chuckles, 'Even though I quite agree with Grian on this one, the ginormous number of suspicions are making our head hurt.'
'Agreed,' False chimes in, 'Please don't make us suffer more than we already are.' she laughs a little.
'Okay guys,' Cub says, 'Who do you think is more suspicious at the moment?'
'Probably Doc, he jumped straight into accusing Grian.' Xisuma says.
Various noises of agreement are heard, and after the voting, Doc indeed got voted out.
'I'm just a simple villager guys,' Doc chuckles, 'I would keep your eyes on the G-man though. Maybe he isn't a werewolf, but he certainly has something up his sleeve...' Without elaborating further, he sits on the couch with the others.
Several groans are heard from the remaining few Hermits, they had really hoped to eliminate another werewolf. Well... life continues, and so does the game. The Hermits prepared themselves for another night, hoping to survive.
