22. Second Round Of The Compitition

And the rules of the compitition is very simple, the top 3 finalists of the star City will be going to capital city for subsequent stage of compitition.

Back to Ethan,

After talking to system, Ethan also realise that there has to be some kind of support and this is better than nothing. And they would not be making any losses.

Looking at Elaina who was still hugging him like a octopus, Ethan was little scared. " I hope my luck wouldn't run out after getting her. "

" Oh.. you didn't say that when I bonded with you."

" You are different, I think of you like a trash talk FM radio. As for Elaina, she is a latest model of LCD TV with touch screen, plus VR pod etc. should I give more examples."

" See, who is talking? An old version of DVD player."

Ethan suddenly stopped arguing with him, he knew he wouldn't be his match.

" So what's your next plan ethan. " System asked,

" First, i will just enjoy this moment, so keep quiet. And don't disturb me."

System"????"

Saying that he closed his eyes and felt the soft touch of Elaina all over his body. Even though his little prince wanted to start the rebellion but Ethan stopped it in time. Otherwise the sacred city wall would have fallen already.

But not long after, ethan and Elaina both went to a deep sleep because of tiredness. They went through a lot of emotional rollercoaster today . And they need their rest to maintain their perfect health for upcoming competition.

Next morning,

Ethan and Elaina found themselves quite an embarrassing position. She was still sleeping on top of ethan but her head was on Ethan's opposite side.

Elaina got up and went inside the bathroom with poker face. But just as she closed the door, she sat down while covering her face.

Even though, she acted boldly in front of Ethan but inside she always felt little nervous because of her origin. But this time it was different, Ethan's changed behaviour has already given the green signal she wanted all this time.

After calming herself down, and finishing her work . She left the bathroom, 1 hour later both of them were ready to move out.

On the way toward the city gate, they bought something to fill there stomach specially Ethan.

At expect 9am they reached the place where second round going to held today. And after a little while city lord and others also reached the stage.

Host, seeing that everyone has arrived, he announced the beginning of second round.

" I hope that everyone is ready for today's round because in this round there is a chance, that you may lose your life."

Hearing this , all the participants started to clamour. The place suddenly filled with Shouts and discussion.

" Yes you heard it right, you may lose your life. So whoever wants to quit the competition now. They can go." Finished saying, host waited for 10 minutes to let the participants decide.

After 10 minutes host continued. " I must commend your bravery, Seeing that nobody wants to leave, then let's the compitition begin.

In this round, everyone has to spend 24 hours in the forest and kill the monsters inside. As a proof of how much you have killed with your hands and not cheating. We have installed small cameras all over the place. So pls refrain your self from cheating.

And one more thing, no fighting between yourself, if you are caught then you will be disqualified from participanting any further."

" Now pls take your seat in those vehicles, they will drop you at the edge of the forest." After that host went to discuss something with city lord and other judges.

Meanwhile city lord eyes were on Ethan and Elaina.

At the same time Ethan and Elaina looked at City lord and both of them nodded to eachother.

After taking a seat inside the vehicle, which is mixer of transport and military bus fully upgraded. They started their journey towards the forest.

30 minutes later, they reached their destination. After walking out of the vehicle Ethan and Elaina didn't wait or talk to anybody else and directly went inside the forest.

The other participants were bewildered looking at their boldness. But none of them try to stop them. Even though, they are not allowed to fight eachother. But they would be happy to see one less participants.

Ethan and Elaina made their way toward the core area, where they spent 3 months of their time. And were very familiar with that area.

After reaching the place, they took their sweet time and started to set up picnic spot for themselves.

" It good to be back. I like it here without to much crowd. "

Elaina nodded and gave Ethan a pack of compressed biscuits. And didn't take any for herself.

Ethan knew she doesn't need it so he didn't ask and started eating.

" So what's your plan , do you need my help."

Ethan thought about it and nodded.

" Can you call the monsters one by one with your skill. " Ethan asked in anticipation.

" I never tried it before but I can try just calling one of them."

Ethan nodded and stayed silent.

Elaina once again started her lovely song and after a minute she stopped but Ethan was still enthralled by her voice.

" If only this monster doesn't come by your singing, I can hear your singing all the time."

" If you want , I can do that too." Elaina replied with shy smile. Looking at her smile ethan really wanted his Prince to start the rebellion. But with great will power he stopped himself.

Seeing him acting like this , Elaina blussed slightly. And as they were talking, they heard a footstep coming closer to them.

Turning around to have a look. Both of their expression became wierd.

" I didn't expect this" Ethan said while sweat started to drop from his forehead. At this time system chimed in.

" You were right ethan, you are starting to lose your luck now."
