2. Power System

" what did you say the weakest" ethan asked again as he couldn't believe his ears.

" You forgot about the bravest"

" Yeah, But still you are the weakest right." He said in a mocking tone.

" Yes I am. so what, you are also a losser right." Hearing this ethan forehead throbbed wildly.

" Ok now tell me how can you make me stronger." He asked with some hope.

" What are you talking about I am not going to make you stronger but you are going to make me stronger."

Listening to this bullshit ethan couldn't take it anymore.

" What kind of system are you. System suppose to help the host get stronger. and hear you are asking me to help you become stronger. What kind of joke is this." He said with anger visible in his eyes.

" Ok ok calm down may be you misunderstood. Look , here is the thing. When you help me upgrade, you can get all the things you want to become stronger aswell. It's like helping me is actually helping yourself and being upgraded means I am becoming stronger."

" And what I have to do for you to become stronger or upgrade." Ethan asked exasperated.

" Nothing just beast core."

" Beast core what is that? " He asked in confusion.

" You don't even know that I was right my host is an dumb idiot."

" Stop your bullshit and tell me." Ethan wanted to bang his head on the wall. 'oh God even if you wanted to give me system atleast you should have given me something nice. Why did you have to give me this shitty system.'

" Hey, I am not a shitty system but weakest system remember the name properly."

Ethan was tired of argue with him. " Ok tell me in detail what can you do."

As they were both talking to each other. The time passed in a flash. And morning came.

After listening his explanation ethan came to understand what this system is all about.

The function of the system is very simple.

And to understand it , you have to first know about the power system of this world.

In Helios world , power system is divided into two category.

1- grade and 2- level

(1)-Grade measures the person's potential, how much further he or she can go on the road of supernatural. The grade is divided into E grade to SS grade. With the help of higher grade a person can break through a level with minimum effort.

(2)- level is as simple as it's name suggests. Level' s are also divided into E level to SS level. The stronger the level you have , the stronger the power you can control.

As for the techniques only the brightest people were able create their own skill. That's why techniques are quite rare in the world.

As for the weapons , it's depand on the creator . If the creator is an level A supernatural being then he can make a weapon untill A rank .

Currently the system is called the weakest system because it's have a following functions.

1:- Host status - which will show all the attributes , grade and the level of the host . And the details about the techniques and weapons host using.

2:- System status - it will show the levels of system after the upgrade and it's new functions.

After hearing the details explanations from the system ethan called out ' system ' in his mind. Then suddenly a virtual screen popped out in front of him. He tried to touch it but his hand went through the screen without any feeling. It s like air.

On the screen there were 2 options on it.

1- ( host status)

2- ( system status)

Ethan clicked on the first option. Which showed him this.

After seeing his grade and power ethan was little disappointed. Even if I am a supernatural being now. What could I do with it. Suddenly a voice sounded in his mind.

" What are you crying for , think about the people who don't have powers. All their lives will become someone else to command. Atleast you have the power even if it's the weakest. And what are you worried about, it's not like you can't upgrade your grade unlike other people."

Ethan thought about and agreed with the system and forgot about all his disappointment from before.

" Alright, lets go to the forest, it's time test my new powers and help you upgrade." Ethan said in high spirit.

" Hey, I am ready anytime. Let's go and show them the combination power of both of us."

" You got that right." Ethan suddenly stood up and was about open the door then suddenly his stomach started protesting." Glu glu glu..."

Ethan let out a awkward smile." Ahh.. i forgot about the least night dinner and now breakfast. If I don't eat something then my stomach will get angry."

" It's dares, then through it out , nobody can seat on our heads."

Ethan was speechless. ' you sure are the weakest system ' ethan thought.

" You really want to kill me , don't you" ethan asked to make sure.

" I am not as halfass as you, if I don't eat on time then we are going to afterlife for sightseeing." Ethan explained while suppressing his anger.

" I was joking you jackass , I am more intelligent then you think . I even know about the reason that your world changing."

Hearing this ethan stopped in his tracks. " What did you say. You know the reason for all this changes."

" Yes, but don't ask me now first go and grabe something to eat. When we will go for hunt I will explain you in detail."

" Alright " ethan nodded and left his apartment for a quick bite on the road side with some milk and bread "
