Shin relaxes in his seat, taking a look at the rank on his dog tag.

"Hmm, I wonder how I can raise my rank? I'll ask Mister Damien about it later."

Damien walks into the classroom.

"Ok everyone, take your seats."

Everyone proceeds to take their seats. A holographic board then appears behind Damien.

"Ok, today we are learning about class abilities. Does anyone know what a class ability is?"

A student raises her hand.

"Please stand up and tell the class what a class ability is, Miss Robinson."

The female student stood up, her height was 5'6. She had a petite build, her eyes were silver and her hair was blond. She had a tattoo on the back of her neck, it was a tattoo of a Cerberus. A three-headed hound that guards the gates of the underworld.

`That's her familiar, a Cerberus`, Shin thought as he stared at the tattoo on the girl's neck. He then holds his right arm where his tattoo of his familiar was.

(Note: The female student mentioned here was the third player to receive an intelligent familiar just like Rika and Shin.)

"The class ability, a passive skill that could be activated at will when the player wants to. The class's ability is different for each class. Some of those with the same class can obtain a different ability than the others."

"Would you mind providing an example?"

"Yes. A common ability for a valkyrie is the power to summon their mount which is a pegasus. This ability is called 'Call of the Valhalla.' When the player mounts their pegasus, the damage they receive from magic attacks are halved and they also become almost invincible to melee attacks."

"Thank you for the example, Miss Robinson, you may take your seat."

The student takes her seat starts to dose off.

"Who is she?" Shin whispered to Rika who sat behind him.

"She's Lana Robinson, I believe her class is a reaper. She started in rank D."

`Rank D. She probably had a high level when she got her class.` Shin thought to himself.

"Ok, next we are going to talk about treasures. The treasures that I will be talking about isn't the regular gold or gems that you get in a treasure chest, these are artifacts that you can equip. Treasures are obtained after you defeat a raid. There are three kinds of treasures. One, an accessory, which is used to boost a certain stat or two. The Second treasure is armor, which is also used to boost a certain stat or more. The third treasure is weapons. Thought you can buy a weapon from the shop, the weapons can either be a cursed weapon or an enchanted weapon. There are special cases where a legendary weapon can appear."

A student raises his hands.

"Yes?"

"How do we enter a raid and where?"

"Well, the training facility is opening tomorrow. A certain part of the facility can create portals that lead to a raid. The colors of a portal depend on what rank the raid is. For F, E, and D ranked raids, the portal will be blue. For C and B ranked raids, they will be red. A and S ranks will have either a purple or green portal. Those are how you can identify what rank the raid is."

"What about the portals that are ranked for SS and SSS ranks?"

"SS ranked raids will have a yellow portal, while for SSS ranked raids and I've experienced one, the portal consists of multiple colors."

"Oh ok."

"Ok is that all the questions you have for me?"

Silence...

"Ok, now I will teach you all 3 basic things that you will be important. The first thing is spatial storage. Some of you may have learned how to use it but some don't. So lemme explain, the spatial storage is where all the treasures, weapons, and other things that you've obtained are stored. T spatial storage, you will need to think of an item that you've already obtained and stored or if you want to deposit an item. It will look something like this."

A small black and red portal appeared beside Damien. Damien puts his hand in the portal and he brings out a small dagger. Most of the class was amazed. Damien re the dagger back in the portal and the portal closed.

"Your spatial storage will be the same as your aura. Anyways that isn't important. The next thing you need to learn is the spell Stat Vision. Stat vision allows you to read another player's stats, it doesn't use any vitality so you can use it whenever you want. All you have to do to use this spell is focus a bit of you magic to your eyes and you'll be able to read another player's stats. You can try these two things right now if you want."

Shin wanted to try out the spatial storage. Shin wanted to store his bag inside of his spatial storage. Two seconds later a red, blue, and black portal opened up next to Shin.

`Wow this is easy`

Shin put his bag inside the portal and it closed up. Next, he tries the Stat Vision. He focuses his magic energy in his eyes and the person's stats in front of him appeared in front of him.

`Cool...`

He looked at Rika behind him

Her stat window appeared in front of him.

`Huh, she leveled up a lot since yesterday. But I don't see her abilities, maybe players can't see other people's abilities.`

Shin then looks over at Lana's direction and he observed her stats.

Her stat window appeared in front of him.

`Her stats are that high?! No way this is the level of a rank D.`

"Ok class settle down, I still have one more thing to say."

The class quiets down and Damien resumes,

"When you get home today, you will be receiving an Osiris Cuff." Damien pointed to his watch on his left hand.

"The Osiris Cuff will allow you to change into your combat outfits, it also keeps check of how much money you have. You can customize your combat outfits to your liking. You can also customize your Cuffs anyway you like and shape it into an accessory."

`His watch is probably his Osiris Cuff.` Shin thought

Damien looked at the time.

Time: 14:30

`Wow, time flies by fast...`

"Ok, you are all dismissed now, prepare for the raid tomorrow."

Time: 17:30

Shin was practicing and learning some magic in the park. Shin was holding a fireball in his hand, it was colored the same as his aura.

(There are 9 types of magic. Fire, water, earth, wind, lightning, light, dark, chaos, and ancient magic. Magic like lightning, fire takes the color of the player's aura. The other magic types have colors of their own. Fire, water, earth, wind, and lightning magic were basic magic. Light, dark, and chaos magic was advanced magic. Ancient magic was magic that had been used to destroy the major threats in the past. It wasn't forgotten but it is nearly impossible for a player to learn even one spell of that category.)

`Hmm guess I should go to my room now. My Osiris Cuff is probably delivered by now.`

Shin walked back to the dorm.

As Shin walked entered his room, there was a white box on the floor. Waiting to be opened. Shin took the box and he placed it on his bed.

"I should take a shower first"

20 minutes later...

Shin walked into his bedroom, walking past a mirror. Shin walked back and took a look at his pale, yet fair-skinned figure. He had well-toned arms and shoulders. He had a visible six-pack.

`Hmm, have I always been like this? This must be the result of Mister Damien's training.`

Shin walked away from the mirror. He then sat down and took the box. He opened the box up and inside was a white cuff with gold linings. As he took the cuff out and put it on his right wrist. Then a holographic page appeared in front of him.

[Registering player] A message appeared.

[. . . . .]

[Registration complete]

[Welcome player, Shin Yamato]

Two options then appeared in front of him.

[1. Customize Osiris] [2. Customize Combat Outfit]

`Interesting, the design on this thing isn't bad so I don't think I'll need to customize it.`

"Oh well, why not."

Shin then spoke into the Cuff,

"Customize Osiris..."

The page then turned into a catalog of watches, cuffs, bracelets, and wristbands.

[Please choose a design that you like...]

Shin selected a classic wristband.

[Would you like to add anything on your wristband?]

"Yes"

A model of the wristband would appear on the page. Shin began drawing a serpentine pattern, as he like snakes. At the same time, the Osiris cuff would have turned into the wristband and the pattern would be drawn.

[Have you finished?]

"Yes"

The white cuff with golden linings had become a black wrist band with a white snake pattern.

The page would then turn into a huge catalog of knight armor, coats, gloves, pants, etc.

"Oh ho ho, I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this..."
