Chapter 52 Jon and Damian

" I can't believe he left you here to deal with these guys."

Damian said, looking at Jon who was holding a man in his right hand. He threw the man to the police office and looked back at his friend with a helpless face because they were his parents. There was no way he would refuse their order.

" It is alright. Mum and Dad needed a honeymoon. I believe the uncle could handle their problems. Besides, we have Uncle Vision and Tony here with us. Although they are crashing in my place, I don't mind staying with them."

Jon scratched his head while carrying Damian to the roof. Damian jumped to the roof, looking at his friend with a slight grunt since he knew his friend was naive. Both Connor and Dick were hardcore supporters of Superman and Batman, so there were a few who could support his stance. However, when it comes to Arthur's affairs almost everyone trusts him unconditionally.

" That doesn't mean they could leave you with mess. Even though Metropolis is a peaceful city compared to Gotham, you have duties as a teen titan."

Damian retorted back with a cold voice. He wanted to bash his head to tell him that he was wrong, but this fool was the same as him. If Damian was a carbon copy of Bruce who was stubborn and brutal, Jon was the exact image of Clark who was good and naive.

That was the main reason for friendship. On the other hand, Jon was helpless about his situation. Fortunately, he had enough power to stop this small time criminal.

" By the way, have you talked with Raven? I saw you were talking with her the other day."

Jon grinned at Damian who was glaring at him with daggers due to his sudden revelation. He gritted his teeth when he heard Jon eavesdrop on their conversation. Furthermore, he was certain that Jon was playing the behind-the-scenes of his sudden encounters with Raven.

" What about you, Jon? I know you like Vera because you were glancing at her with those puppy eyes."

Damian spoke calmly which turned Jon nervous. He fidgeted around, turning his head around to spot any familiar faces. Fortunately, there were only so many people who had super hearing.

" When did you notice it?"

Jon raised his eyebrows, thinking inside of himself to get away from Damian, but he had no choice since only he could help him.

" Don't you dare to mention it before her or others? They would make fun of me. Especially my mother would hang me over the wall to decorate her room."

Jon pleaded with a helpless face. Damian snorted at his words. He was asking too much from him, but that was his friend.

Damian jumped down from the roof, flashing a finger toward him. Jon burst out with laughter, chasing after his best friend.

Meanwhile in Watchtower

" They sure are great friends. How is it, John? My name surveillance system is good right?"

Tony said calmly, tinkering the control board with his bare chest. Compared to the past his body had gone beyond his limit and became a healthy muscular body thanks to his continuous training.

" Pretty good, Mr. Stark. I believe only a few could match your intellect even in Eden."

John praised him honestly for his talent. As a Martian John saw many brilliant minds, including his teammates like Bruce Wayne and Michael Holt. However, except for a few nobody could reach the level of Tony's masterful technological mind. Perhaps he could reach an even higher level after going through new worlds.

" But to talk about girls. They take after my side, haha."

Tony laughed, recalling the images of two young boys in his mind. There was no chance that he was going to slide it away. After all both Bruce and Clark are proud about their parenting skills.

" It is their age, Tony. Even I can feel love, so can they."

Vision said calmly while controlling things on the control board. He was coding the algorithm for their new base and portal because after Arthur's disappearance, the portals shut down itself. Hence, they were extremely careful about the portals due to their instability. Space and Time were hard to calculate and manage.
