Chapter 34 New Frontiers

" Yawn* Bit too rough yesterday."

Arthur said, looking at Hela who was wearing her gown, and Natasha who was brushing her teeth. Hill had gone already out because she was a director of the city, so she had to work early.

" Shut up, tell that to yourself. You almost killed 3 of us yesterday. Just how much stamina do you even have there? I swear you were more energetic than the battlefield."

Natasha scolded her husband, showing her neck which had love marks of Arthur. Hela silently nodded with her, indicating Arthur was a bit too much even for her. She knew Arthur hadn't cheated on herself with other women in another world, but this was just too much for her.

" From now on sleep on the couch for a few days. We can't handle you. Look at Hela, she took the most and her hands are trembling from yesterday's intensity and how are you going to explain that to your family?"

Natasha raised her eyebrows, pointing at Hera's hands. Hela wanted to say she was alright, but looking at Arthur's guilty face, her sadistic side came out as she shut her mouth. She wanted to make Arthur desperate for their attention since she had been neglected for 5 years.

" Ugh, I will go out and inspect other worlds. I won't come home for a few days, so I think you will be alright."

Arthur groaned, scratching his nose with embarrassment and guilt of helplessness because he let himself loose yesterday. The drought of many years was finally quenched by the care of his wives. Thus, he was in a pretty good mood except for being stressed out by the thought of the mess that he had to deal with as a leader.

" Fine, just go. If you lay your hands on another woman, I swear that..."

Natasha threatened him, showing the image of scissors with her fingers which scared Arthur. Although she was messing with her husband in her point of view, Arthur viewed this as a life threat rather than a joke.

" Okay, bye."

Arthur quickly slipped through the window, flying towards the gate area. Hela sighed while looking at his back, knowing she had to assist her useless brother again.

" Nat, I am off to New Asgard. Call me if you need me."

She said, stepping into the portal lightly. Natasha waved her hand, motioning her to go since she had to clothe herself before going out as a trainer. She was really busy these days due to the war and political issues around the world which she had to constantly go for a business trip.

In the portal gate area

Arthur flew down to the landing zone, looking around him with satisfaction. He saw the bustling scenes of robots and bio-modified organisms walking harmoniously under the commands of the central intelligence systems governed by 3 AIs.

" You sure took your time, Art."

Clark laughed, revealing his pure white teeth. During his short stay, he saw the wonderful city that Arthur had created and saw its value of it. Both advanced technologies and magics coexist in this city, creating a unique environment that can't be found anywhere. Especially, those portals connected dimensions allowing interexchange between them, increasing the guardians' power every second.

He saw mythic creatures like vampires, werewolves, orcs, goblins, and so on with humans, laughing and joking around them while living honestly. He saw the androids being treated as living beings in meanwhile they assist others with their inexhaustible energy.

This city was beyond a port city that connected them, it was an asylum for the peace and justice that was shunned away from the world. A feeling of true peace and justice existed here without a taint of the corrupt governments.

" Well, I had to wear some gear. You know I am visiting as a hero, not a diplomat. Besides, I don't think your world would agree with my plans."

Arthur said, activating his energy cape and energy sword which symbolized his identity. Diana chuckled when she saw the iconic old emblem on his arm which symbolized the ultimate judge.

" You took this road, huh? I never thought you would become a judge and a champion."

She understood Arthur had a deeper meaning than a simple visit. He was there to see the reality of their world and decided whether they are qualified for his help or not.
