Chapter 25 Thanos on the verge of defeat

A red laser cut through the ground as it forcing Thanos to block it with his bare hand. The burning sense of flesh distorted the titan's face, leaving him no choice but to retreat. Even so, he was pushed down by a woman who held the cosmic power of a space cube.

" Give up, mad titan. Your men and your army aren't enough to take on this number of heroes."

Steve shouted, hurling Mjolnir to enraged Thanos with his might, creating a powerful explosion of thunder. Thor also used his axe to cleave through the armor that was protecting him.

" Argh!"

Thanos groaned, grabbing Carol Danvers who had been pushing him back to his army. He punched her in the face, kicking Thor away with a heavy strike. Moreover, he slashed Tyrande with his blade and threw her to Hela who was surprised to see how tenacious he was.

" Don't push your luck. Never mind, I will kill all of you."

Thanos clenched his fists, striking down the ground and breaking it into pieces that gave huge tremors throughout the battle. The heroes and aliens lost their balance from the sudden impact and most of the ground heroes were unable to move for a few seconds and that was enough for Thanos who stopped holding back.

He jumped to the sky, appearing before Gabriel and Zechs who hadn't made any preparations for his attack, and fell into huge chains of assaults as they fell in a mere second.

" Bastard!"

Thor tried to strike him with his thunder, but Thanos didn't give him any chance as he kicked the angel toward him while rushing toward other weak links. He spotted the object that he was looking for and he didn't hesitate to chase after it.

" Rocket, throw the fucking gauntlet away!"

Peter shouted, shooting the incoming titan with his best despite there being no obvious damage. He was sure Thanos would kill him if he doesn't throw it away. Fortunately, Rocket was able to react as he threw it to Peter Parker who took the gauntlet with his web.

" Thanos!"

Drax shouted, trying to hold him off, but with a single punch, Thanos buried him to the ground, knocking him out of the cold. Even with his super durability, Drax couldn't take one punch from him.

" I am Groot!"

Groot bound his leg with a branch, but that was all for naught as Thanos just brushed off his branches. To him, it was just nothing but a few pieces of wood that was blocking his victory.

" Die!"

However, in this brief moment, Hela and Xiang Yu blinked next to him, chopping his head with their weapons. Moreover, Hassan stabbed his heart with his heart to ensure their victory.

Thanos who had huge crisis senses shifted his balance to avoid vital parts as he grabbed their weapons and threw them at each other.

" Excalibur!"

" Clarent Blood Arthur!"

Two giant energy swords came down to his body, cleaving everything through their ways. Thanos clenched his teeth and shouted with fury.

" Don't joke with me. Even if I lose my arm, I won't fail today."

One of his arms dropped on the ground, tainting the ground with blood. However, he managed to reach Peter who was desperately running away from him.

" Get the hell away from him."

Pepper showered him with her laser beams, creating a large scene of destruction on her way. Albeit this Thanos came out from it with heavy injuries.

" Garden of Avelon! Romantia!"

Merlin and Brinhild blocked his way as the last defense, even so determined Titan cut off one of his legs and grabbed Peter by the throat. He peeled off the gauntlet, throwing Peter to the ground like he was some sort of an insect.

" Finally!"

Thanos said with delighted, knowing he was only one step away from his goal. Thus, he finished what he started by using the ultimate power.

The result that he was looking forward to didn't come to him as he realized he was tricked by his enemies. He saw a tall man who was holding a golden glove with 6 stones on his knuckles.

" Thank you for your contribution to the science and now rest in peace."

Tesla said, snapping his finger to erase these monstrous beings.
