Chapter 143 First confront

Sonic booms echoed through the valley as Arthur sped through the air with a calm expression.

" Sir, we are near the distress signal."

Arthur nodded his head lightly, flying down to look around because he got a distress signal from the mutants.

" Arthur, you are here."

Scott was delighted to see Arthur who came to their help. He didn't summon them because they were in need of help, he summoned them because Jean and Xavier told him so.

" What is going on?"

Arthur asked with a calm face, looking at the rumbles of Sentinel seriously. He saw it through the satellite but looking at it in person, he guessed why it was deadly.

With a single glance, he could tell this thing was armed against every living superhuman in this world. The thing got all-purpose guns and canons that were armed to kill any hostile being.

" You are here!"

Jean got out of the facility, looking a little pale compared to the past since she was having this nightmare. She saw the death of the leaders of Eden and other forces that spelled the end of humanity. Especially, the first person who died in this war was Arthur himself according to her latest dream.

She saw him being brutally murdered by some kind of a man who was attacking the city. She saw that he was lifting Arthur by his throat, killing his body and soul to end his conquest.

After that, every hero in the city was killed by the robots and villains that sent heroes to their graves. Even nuclear attacks weren't effective against them as the remaining villains took control of the mechanic race and enslaved all surviving heroes to attack mutants and Inhumans.

Arthur who heard the vision, fell into silence with a cold face. He didn't want to deny it but he knew her ability was reliable since she was an omega level. Her power could certainly tap into time and space itself.

" I understand. I will personally go to the capital city and talk with the president."

He left without much thinking he would meet with the president in a good term and he didn't want to use warp technology out of his respect, so he flew to the capital city with other mutants in their plane.

" Do you think he will accept your words? I don't want to offend you, mate but I doubt he will agree with you."

Logan bit off his cigar, knowing the president wouldn't likely agree with him. There was too much stake here and this was a chance for them could suppress superhumans, mutants, and Inhumans.

" I don't know, Logan. I really hope he will agree with me because I don't want to sanction and condemn this country."

Arthur was the leader of the heroes and the most influential person in the whole European region except for the leaders of the governments. He didn't want the West split between themselves since they had so many external enemies.

" Something is ahead, guys!"

Hank warned them with a light tone as Xmen unfastened their seat belts, looking at the dot in the sky.

" What is that?"

Before everyone could say something, the dot disappeared from their sight.

The plane issued a red alert as it shook violently.

" No!"

Jean knew who he was and what he came here for. He was probably after Xavier and Arthur who were sitting in the plane.

" Open the hatch!"

Arthur flew through the hatch, looking at the man with a frown on his face because he didn't he was whether enemy or ally but the former one seemed to be more fit in their current situation.

" Who are you and why are you obstructing us?"

Arthur didn't attack immediately, trying to initiate a conversation with him but before he could say more, he was sent flying.

" Arthur!"

The Xmen who landed on the ground, looked at the man with horror. He was able to send one of the strongest people on this planet without any difficulty at all. Even though he was weakened, he was at least a level 4 mutant-like human.

" Everyone get ready to battle. Connect to others and request reinforcement."

Scott didn't hesitate to shoot him with a laser.
