Chapter 133 Guardians of the galaxy

Asmodeus looked at Ego with amusement. He didn't care about his death because basically, he is an immortal being as long as he can use his energy.

Ego gritted his teeth. He never thought Asmodeus would be this tenacious. It was like he was M.

Suddenly, a red arrow hit Ego. Ego narrowed his eyes because he knew he was in trouble. Asmodeus smiled and said with a happy tone.

" Finally, what took you so long?"

Yondu grinned.

" Some golden bastards chased us, and we took care of them, right?"

Peter nodded. He said with an arrogant tone.

" Yeah, they looked hilarious when I destroyed their ship."

Rocket bared his teeth. His tone was a little dissatisfied.

" Like you did it alone. We were there too."

Peter smiled wryly.

" Yeah, sorry about that."

Rocket aimed at Ego. He said with a smile.

" So that's your father's real look. A blue bastard with tentacles. Peter, do you have a tentacle too?:

Peter's face darkened.

" Of course not. Look at my face. I am pretty handsome, right?"

Gamora rubbed her temple. She said helplessly.

" We have an enemy. Let's talk about it later."

Nebula scoffed.

" Like usual, I can't understand your decision. What is good about him besides his face?"

Gamora took a deep breath to calm down. She squeezed out a smile.

Nebula shrugged her shoulders.

Ego yawned.

" Are you here to fight or to talk?"

Asmodeus nodded.

" Yeah, let's finish this soon."

Peter raised his hand. A blue energy immediately galloped toward Ego. Ego didn't mind it. He blocked it effortlessly. Gamora took the chance. She slashed Ego with her sword. Nebula assisted her with her batons. Electric current coursed through Ego's body. Ego was paralyzed.

Even so, he didn't show any anxiety. He said calmly.

" Is that it?"

Gilgamesh said lightly.

" No. Babylon."

Golden light showered Ego. Merlin and Qin didn't give him a chance to relax. They directly utilized their arsenal. Merlin bombarded Ego with his magic, while Qin used his cannons to attack him. Other melee fighters didn't involve in the battle. They were waiting for their chance.

Asmodeus said calmly.

" Guys, stop. It is useless. Basic physical and magical attack can't damage him."

Gilgamesh clicked his tongue. He raised his hand.

" Come forth."

A golden lance like weapon with red runes came out. Gilgamesh pulled its handle.

" Die. Obliterate him, Ea."

Red energy swept Ego. Ego felt burning pain for the first time. This wasn't soul damage. It was physical damage. Gilgamesh said proudly.

" There is nothing I can't defeat."

Ego narrowed his eyes. He felt threat same as Asmodeus. He said coldly.

" Energy explosion."

Blue energy covered the sky. Gilgamesh's face changed instantly. He said loudly.

" Quick, take a cover."

Only Asmodeus, Gilgamesh and Peter directly resisted his attack.

A giant mushroom cloud rose. Asmodeus created a barrier to protect the closest team members. Peter coughed.

" Arthur, I think I grasped my power."

Asmodeus sighed with a relief. He said without hesitation.

" Then what are you waiting for?"

Peter nodded. He was covered in blue energy. He shouted.

" Ego!"

Gilgamesh's jaw almost dropped on the floor. He cursed.

" Shit, he transformed into a god."

Asmodeus nodded. Peter hit Ego with a super punch.

They fought heavily. It was a spectacular sight. Asmodeus sighed.

" Sigh* What are we even doing here?"

Others nodded. Asmodeus immediately ordered.

" Merlin, where is Mordred?"

Merlin said calmly.

" She is almost done."

Asmodeus nodded. He looked at Peter's figure.

Peter shouted.

" Father!"

He turned into a giant Pac-Man. Ego turned into giant himself. Asmodeus said with amazement.

" This is really exciting."

Suddenly, a giant explosion happened. Rocket's face changed when he heard it. He said loudly.

" Not good, the time is up. We need to retreat."

Merlin nodded.

" I called the ship. He should be waiting us."

Asmodeus said calmly.

" You guys go. We will stay here."

Gamora said righteously.

" How can we leave you?"

Asmodeus looked at Drax and Nebula. He said lightly.

" Take care her away. She will be burden to us."

Drax nodded. He smiled.

" Don't die."

Asmodeus laughed softly.

" I am not a person who will die in an explosion."
