Chapter 13 Farewell to Raccoon city
Claire sighed with relief
" Finally dead. Let's go now."
Claire gets in the train and starts it. Sherry asked with sadness
" Claire, was that my dad?"
Claire nodded with difficulty
" Yes. I am sorry, Sherry."
Sherry choked little
" It's okay. At least mom and dad will be happy in the heaven."
Claire hugs Sherry.
" It's alright. We will get out from this place. Your parents will be happy to know that you are alive."
Sherry nodded
" I understand."
Back to Arthur's side
Arthur and Leon were running in underground. Leon asked
" Arthur are you sure this is the right way?"
Arthur nodded
" I am pretty sure."
Suddenly Arthur heard sound. He was happy to hear something. Arthur pointed
" This way, Do you hear that?"
Leon's eyes lit up
" I do. Let's go."
30 seconds later
Arthur saw train coming.
" Leon let's jump on it."
Leon grabbed railing and Arthur grabbed Leon's hand. They successfully boarded the train. Leon opens the door.
" Claire are you here?"
Claire was happy to see Leon and Arthur
" You two came here."
Arthur nodded
" Yeah we have gone through a lot."
Claire seems to be understand his meaning
" I am too. Oh yeah. Guys this is Sherry. Sherry this is Arthur and Leon."
Sherry nodded
" Nice to meet you."
Arthur smiled
" It's nice to meet you little lady."
Sherry immediately favored Arthur. Leon scratches his head
" Nice to meet you girl."
Arthur asked
" So Claire how was tonight?"
Claire thought about William
" Well I met mutant zombie which has giant eye and claws. What about you?"
Leon groans
" Guy with claw and hat."
Arthur didn't say anything. Claire smiled
" We all had tough night huh."
Leon smiled
" Yeah. I thought I will be dead by the morning."
Arthur grinned
" Let's just enjoy here. I think this place is good for us."
Claire and others sat down together as they chatted about their lives. Leon couldn't help to envy Arthur. He is rich and he has girlfriend.
" Man you are real life winner."
Arthur looked to him
" Hey I built these by my own hands."
Boom*
Arthur and others got up immediately
" Do you hear that?"
Leon took out his gun.
" Claire stay here. We will go and check it."
Claire agreed
" Okay. Be careful."
Arthur opened the door. He saw giant eye and some kind of zombie with parasitic feature. Leon couldn't help to ask.
" Is this William? Claire told us he is dead."
Arthur nodded
" He is indeed dead fully but inside of him is not. Leon we have to disconnect this trailer or else this thing is gonna swallow us."
Leon nodded
" I will do it. Arthur you distract it."
Arthur shouts
" Hey freak."
Eye immediately focused his attention on Arthur. Arthur shot the eye. The monster wailed.
He was enraged and swallowed trailer little by little. Arthur was shooting at the eye. Arthur asked
" Leon ,are you done yet?"
Leon shouts
" Wait little more. It is stuck."
Arthur sighed and started to shoot again.
Bang, Bang*
The monster was continuously swallowing the trailer. He was almost in front of Arthur.
Kacha*
Leon shouts
" Arthur hurry."
Arthur looked to eye.
" Bye."
Arthur threw grenade and jumped back.
Boom*
The monster roared helplessly. Leon couldn't help to ask
" Do you think he is dead?"
Boom*
Arthur grinned
" Sure he does."
Two of them went back to Claire. Claire asked
" What was it?"
Leon sighed
" Guy with giant eye."
Claire nodded
" I understand."
10 minutes later
They finally went out from underground. Arthur looked to sun.
" It is so beautiful."
Leon nodded
" Yeah, let's go to road so that we can go with car."
Claire and Sherry agreed.
30 minutes later
They walked a lot but there is no car. Suddenly Leon smiled
" Look there. I am gonna fetch it."
Claire nodded
" Okay."
Leon ran and gestured. However driver give him middle finger. Others immediately burst out with laughter
" Leon, Haha."
Leon was little depressed. He sighed
" Let's go by walking. Weight find another car in main road."
Arthur puts Sherry on his shoulder.
" Yeah let's do that."
Sherry smiled
" Hey don't we look like a family. Claire and Leon are my parents and Arthur, you look like my uncle or big brother."
