Chapter 34 love confession

Iris didn't leave her room ever since she walked out of Lexar's confession, she felt guilty but a side of her wanted to be with him, she just couldn't stand the idea of ever feeling for someone as she did.

Lexar sat in his study wondering if he was been too forward in his confession to Iris, he stood from his chair and went to check for iris from the maids and was made aware of her whereabouts in the palace.

Iris just got out of the bath as a maid helped her make her bed, she then got offered a towel by a maid to dry her hair. Right, when she was about to slide into her nightgown she heard a knock on her room door.

Wonder would be there "she thought as she ordered a maid to go check who it was at the door", iris got into a robe as the door was opened and the maid bowed, she soon realized it was Lexar as he stepped in front of her in the room.

Lexar dismissed the maid and walked closer to iris, the more steps he took forward the more steps she took backward, until she was pinned to the wall, and her eyes met with his.

She then finally spoke of fear and surprise "what do you want Lexar please step backward we are too close" Lexar smirked and replied.

I knew it, you can't last a second near me without feeling like been swallowed by the ground, iris your sight also doing the same and more?

Iris, why do you find it hard to believe that my heart beats for you and only you? Lexar uttered as he placed her hands on his chest.

Iris suddenly pushed him aw, making him fall to the ground.

Lexar took hold of the opportunity and faked an injury as held his head a groaned loudly continuously, iris face changed as she leaned down to check the wound as tried moving his hands from his head to a closer look.

Although I wanted him away from me I didn't plan to get him hurt she thought as she tried to get a piece of cloth to wrap around his, Lexar just smiled inside as he continued with the act.

Would you just take off your hands so I can see how bad the bleeding is "Iris said softly with a sorry look"?

Lexar brought down his hands and finally confessed his lies.

Iris stood in anger about to leave.

Are you going to leave dressed like that "Lexar uttered"? Iris looked down at herself and noticed she was still wearing a bathrobe and in front of Lexar.

Well, you should leave then "Iris said".

I am not leaving this room until my demands are met, Iris we both know it and it is about time you say it too.

Stop fighting it you can't bear the sight of seeing me hurt, I love you Iris and I know you do too.
