The Walking Dead : This Lucky Bastard

In a dimension far from the knowledge of men or even gods, three primordial entities decide to correct the cases of secondary characters through the fictional universes created by humans. After TWILIGHT with Jacob and Harry Potter with the case of Ron, they were interested in The Walking Dead but things will be different this time. English is not my first language, my texts are written in French and I will try to translate them, please bear with me if you notice some typos. Thank you all

Chapter 44 (bonus)

[ Background music: Oneheart - This feeling ]

Christina woke up in a strange place, she no longer felt the fatigue or pain that inhabited her body during the last moments of her life, she had on her body a white and luminous thing which was at the same time a dress and a second skin, she began to ask herself some questions when a calm voice called out to her...

"Welcome…" the indescribable voice belonged to a humanoïde, bright being whose beauty she could not properly describe called her out.

Christina : Who are you ? Where am I ?

"I don't really have a name but depending on my nature and my function, you can call me Eternity. The place you are in is a sort of waiting room for your eternal destination, a dimension that I created and that your Kind can call paradis or heaven. Come with me, there are people waiting for you..." Eternity said while walking in a certain direction and Danielle, still shocked by what she had just listened to, still followed and she hadn't even taken ten steps when the environment around her suddenly changed to become a beautiful garden near a large white house.

She saw other houses similar to hers in the distance and wanted to ask Eternity something but the bright being had already disappeared.

Suddenly Christina heard sounds of amusement, two children's voices and her soul was invaded by a strange feeling, as if for some unknown reason she knew who these children were.

She walked at first but her pace quickly turned into a run until she saw two children playing with a large Golden Retriever with the most magnificent coat she had seen and she recognized him immediately.

"Brownie…" She called the dog and he looked at her before running with joy towards her and barking as Christina cried with joy over the dog she had had as a teenager and who had died when she started army, she had loved this dog with all her strength and his death had devastated her so bad.

"Mama…" Of the two children, the little boy with tanned skin and gorgeous curly hair said as he started to run wobbly towards her, he seemed to be about three years old. Christina's soul immediately knew who it was especially that the boy looked like Calvin. This child was their child who died with her and she immediately took him in her arms, crying while her attention then went to the girl who seemed to be three years older but who seemed a little hesitant to come to her.

"She's been waiting here a little longer than the other one..." a beautiful brunette woman with blue eyes said as she appeared near the little girl before encouraging her to go towards Christina whose tears kept falling as she realized who was this girl .

She was the baby she had lost in her previous relationship before knowing Calvin and as if the girl knew that her mother had just finally recognized her, she started running towards Christina in tears as he hugged her child .

"It looks like our new neighbors are finally starting to come…" A man said near the woman with two blue eyes, he himself had purple eyes and even in the joy of finding his children, Christina looked at them questioningly .

"Don't worry, we're your neighbors here and we've been here a little longer. We took care of these two little angels while waiting for their parents, my name is Jacob and this is my wife Danielle..." Jacob introduced himself with a kind smile, Danielle told him that they had better let them enjoy these reunion alone and come back afterwards so they left, leaving Christina savoring the warmth of her babies in her arms.

Paradise, she was in the afterlife now and she cried with joy but above all with a certain sadness thinking of Calvin, especially seeing the face of their son who was the portrait of his father.

With her children carried on each of her arms without her feeling either their weight or fatigue, Christina walked in the lush garden before entering the house with the children happy to finally be with their mother.

The interior of the house was gigantic compared to what the outside showed, it was beautiful beyond words and a feeling of comfort immediately came over them as if the place was literally made for them.

After exploring a little, Christina went out with the children to explore some more and she saw Danielle a little further away who seemed to be feeding large deer with bright antlers so she moved closer but Danielle had already noticed her.

"It feels weird at first, huh…?" She asked her as the children started playing with the animals.

Christina : I still can't realize, my death, the afterlife, this place...my babies...there are so many things I feel at the same time...so many questions...

"When my husband and I arrived here at the same time, it was like that for us too. Everything is different here, there are so many wonders to discover and we are not alone because even the people we sincerely loved are also here, my parents and even Jacob's. (signs her to sit down) Your children didn't appear here really long before you, the notion of time is quite special here compared to the world of the living... in fact... time absolutely doesn't exist here..." Danielle He said as he sat down next to her.

 Christina : I'm not sure I understand...

"This is precisely what is special here, there is no understanding but just sensation, you'll learn to feel things as you felt your children long before seeing them.

If you have loved ones in the world of the living then they will be reunited with you here in a time that you will not even feel passing.

Among the living, they'll spend the rest of their life expectancy years, die and end up there but for you, it will only be a moment because even your perception of time as you had is drastically no longer the same …" Danielle explained to her.

"Calvin…" Christina whispered a little sadly, thinking of him.

"Is that your soulmate's name ? The one you love ? You already met mine and that simpleton went running with the wolves in the clouds. You can always watch your mate if you miss him..." Danielle told her and Christina stared at him asking him to show her how to do it.
