Theodore's Torn Page II

As I was slowly drowning in that neverending abyss. I couldn't believe my eyes as I saw a bright light slowly shining in the distance.

Suddenly, the shackles that were bound on my body felt lighter as the light slowly burned the abyss that were wrapped around me.

I looked straightly in the light, yet all I felt was warmth. An unending feeling of an emotion that I haven't felt in a long time.

It was warm.

Safe.

Something different.

Something unique.

Something I didn't know what it was from that point on.

But I didn't realize that the small light in the far distance of the abyss. Something that was smaller than a pebble was a gate.

The gateway from the future that I hold, and escape from the past that I held.

I heard a voice calling for me. As I opened my eyes, I was there in the hospital.

"Are you alright son?" A nurse then asked me.

"Yeah. I'm alright." I quickly replied.
