Asher looked at her for a moment as he felt a trace of disappointment in his heart. Of course, what else could he expect? She was his cousin's wife. So, she obviously would be happy to see her husband suddenly taking interest in her.
So what the hell was he doing here again?
Was he merely a second male lead who would unknowingly make waves and push the main characters toward one another, blossoming their romance? Meanwhile, what about him?
These types of characters would always end up all alone. Becoming the male lead or a supporting character was better than becoming the miserable second male lead.
Asher took a deep breath and decided to back away before things could escalate to a difficult situation.
