Chapter 1: Istanbul, Turkey

I have seen Istanbul for the better part of my life as I saw movies and dramas that were shooting in Istanbul. It was gorgeous and many people are friendly here. I did not think that it would be this intense feeling of stepping foot here and I was in the middle of the fairy tale.

"This is amazing, I mean can you believe it?" I shouted at my cousin as we were walking out of the airport after my father has passed us through immigration and custom and we were ready to see the world.

"Guys, keep it down. I don't want you to get people's attention or disturb people," my mother warned me as I was giggling with my cousin. We were running around as I was looking at the building. We have an escort that my father booked and will be our tour guide for the rest of our stay here.

We will be gone for 2 weeks if that's what you all are wondering. I know, I have been lucky to get a job of my own and I was happy that my boss has let me have my own graduation's summer vacation before I worked full time.

"This is the best feeling ever!" I shouted before my father asked me to come and grabbed my sister. The youngest one anyway as my teenage sister was doing her own thing, not bothering anyone with anything as she would silently follow us with her phone stuck to her eyes.

"Okay, can we go now?" She said as she was looking at us. I turned to look at her confused as she would never talk unless she was bored or hangry.

"Where can we get the fastest food around here?" She asked.

Yup, the latter one.

The van pulled up as my father was talking to the driver. He was an American and he had been living in Turkey for years now after marrying his wife.

"Welcome guys to the land of the gospel!" He said happily as we were getting loaded into his van. My father and uncle were loading our begs as I was getting inside with the rest of the family.

"The Kennedy was already here," my mother said as she was referring to our old childhood friends, they are more like family now.

���Oh, will they be staying near us?" I asked her as she was looking at her phone. I wonder if she got international coverage or something.

"Yes, they will be in the house next to ours and they have set up for dinner tonight, how exciting," my mother said as I was leaning against the chair. It was morning in Istanbul as I was wary and I think it has to do with jet lag.

"Everyone ready?" Our tour guide asked before I was starting to doze off.

"Yeah!" My family answered except for me.

"Okay, here we go!" He said as he went to speed off from the airport and I was dozing off into my wonderland.

I was playing around and I was playing with someone. But I could not make out the face or the silhouette of the person that I was laughing with. All I know was that person gave me something. It was a necklace and I was so happy to have it before my mother took it away as she was afraid that I would choke on it before that silhouette was gone.

I startled before I looked at my happy family, oblivious to my nightmare as I was rubbing my face as I was trying to get the sleep out of the way. I know what you will be guessing, why would I sleep during the ride that I can get good scenery. I don't even know.

"Okay, here we are, we have arrived," our tour guide said as we were getting out of the van. I was the last one to get off as I was dozing off for quite some time. When I got off the van, my breath was out of this world.

"I cannot believe it," I whispered as I was taking in my surroundings. The house was quaint and it was nice. The summer breeze was just chilly but not with a jacket can fix that.

"Isn't this wonderful?" Kaka said as she was dragging me away from the van as my father was talking with our tour guide about the plan for tomorrow. Then I was walking into the house as I was looking at the courtyard. It has a nice zing to it and I was smiling against my better judgment.

"Oh my gosh, you guys are here!" Aunt Theresa came out of the house. I smiled at her as my cousin was hugging her.

"Aunt Theresa. You're here. Where's everyone else?" She asked as I was walking toward her.

"We're here. We would not miss it for the world," my friend, Nina said as she was walking out of the door. Her bouncy blonde hair was glossy and nice that I was envied her when I was little but I got over my insecurity as I was adult and mature and can think better for myself.

"Yeah, and get this trip for free? No way," her younger sister, Tina was looking at me as she was smirking at me.

"Where's Jimmy and Theo?" Kaka asked me as I was eyeing Tina and Nina. I hoped I was not blushing as Kaka knew I would. I cleared my throat before I went to hug Tina and Nina.

"Well, they were getting ready for dinner. They were grilling the steaks. I hoped that you're hungry," aunt Theresa said as she ushered us into the house. I was smiling before my mother and aunt were in the house, trying to get the utensils and other food in order.

"Olivia, will you cut the watermelon please?" My mother asked as I was moving around the kitchen and moved to cut the watermelons into a plate and I was humming right now as my mother and aunt were moving the food into the backyard.

"Something smells nice," a voice said as I know who it belonged to.

"Hello, Theo," I said as I was looking at him when he was leaning against the countertop as he was smirking at me. I was looking at him before I smiled at him. He was leaning to kiss me but I shook my head.

"Not here," I whispered to him as I don't want our secret to getting out into the open. His eyes were dark but he let me do my work as he was drumming his fingers against the countertop.

"So, what do you want to do after dinner?" He asked me as he was wiggling at me. I rolled my eyes but I was smiling at him.

"Be nice and maybe you will get a surprise," I whispered to him before he looked around for a moment. He kissed me briefly before moving out of the kitchen into the backyard.

"Coward," I mumbled before I was resuming my work as I was smiling.

The dinner was pleasant as I was scooping some meat into my plate and asked for a barbecue sauce from Theo. He smirked at me before I was glaring at him. He gave the sauce by touching my hand for a moment. I blushed. I hoped no one will see that.

"So, Olivia, how's work?" Aunt Theresa asked me as I was cutting the meat. My father and Uncle Sam was talking to Uncle Ross about some business as I was dabbing my mouth. Theo was looking at me.

"Well, I've been better. My boss was kind enough to let me have this trip before I went to work for the company full time," I said as I was sipping on my water. Theo eyed my mouth as I was licking it with my lips.

"And what about you, Honey? Did you have a good time at school?" Aunt Theresa was asking my sister but she just shrugged.

"Eh, it could get worst," was her only reply as she went to dive into the food like she hasn't been eating for so long.

Well, the airplane food was not good enough anyway.

"And what about you aunty? Have you been keeping in shape? New interest or hobby?" I asked her as she was laughing at my question.

"Well, even though we were having millions and millions of dollars every month, I think my work as a cafeteria server was a good one. I can connect with people and listen to their stories. It was great, really," she replied as she was sipping on her champagne.

I smiled at her as I was taking on my water. I did not drink, heaven forbids as I know that it was not good for the body but what can I say to other people who want to indulge in it.

"Okay. How's school, Jimmy?" I asked him as he was about to eat a wholesome of T-bone.

"Huh? Oh, great. It was okay," he said as he was chewing the meat with delight. I snickered as I looked at Theo. He was looking at me with the intensity that only I can tame it. I cleared my throat before I was sipping on the water again.

It has been quite some hours now that I was starting to yawn. I don't know if the children were already in bed but I was helping Tina and Nina to get the food inside and washing the dishes and storing the leftovers.

"Well, I better go now. My mum would not want me to be late," I said after I was putting all the leftovers into the fridge.

"Good night, Olivia," Tina and Nina said to me as I was walking out of the kitchen and out of the house. I closed the door and about to walk away when I was dragged to the side by a familiar hand.

"I have been waiting all night for this," he said before Theo kissed me. I was moaning into that kiss as he was deepening the kiss when he flicked his tongue onto my lips and I gave access to him. He was fucking my mouth like he fucking owns it.

He did fucking own me.

It has been 2 years since we were together. After I graduated from university, he had been working and saving some money.

I haven't seen him for a long time and when I finally confessed to him, he did love me as well but always too afraid to tell me because he was not some intellectual. I told him it was okay, that I only wanted him for him. Not for status or money and he smiled for the first time after that.

"Oh my god, I have missed you so much,"

"And I, you," I said as I was clinging to him as he was roaming my body. I moaned before he put his finger to his lips.

"Now, we don't want people to discover, aren't we?" He asked me as his smirk was on his lips. I nodded before he let me go. I instantly wanted his hand on me again.

"Now, go home. I will watch you from here," he said as I was walking away from the house and I went to walk to the adjacent house as he was still looking at me. I looked at him as I was holding the handle.

He smiled and I smiled back at him before I went inside. I did not know that tomorrow will be all different and I could not stress enough how regretful I was that night.
