OH SH*T

[A/N: Yes. This is the fluff you've been waiting for. Enjoy :)]

Eirene didn't know whether she was awake or not? It was like being in a state of a dream and a coma. She could hear, but she couldn't feel her body. But she wasn't always like this. What brought her into this state was the voice seemingly talking to someone too far away from her to hear.

"...yeah. I know... No, I don't mind... I don't think-... I agree with you. It's up to her to decide... Thank you for this." Although her senses were dull, and she was very vulnerable, she didn't feel scared or anxious. She knew the voice very well. It was the voice that gave her comfort and allowed her to feel she was perfectly fine for who and how she was.

She was getting comfortable in the state of her soul and body disconnected when she heard the vaguely heard voice, "...Is everyone from the plane okay?"

Plane.

Plane...

PLANE

The word chanted in her relaxed mind like a sudden tornado forming out of nowhere. Her mind filled with the voice suddenly pulled out the memories from what happened in the crew's cabin. Then the moment when she realised the explosives around her neck were activated.

Although she didn't have a body, she closed her eyes and ran to escape and hide from the haunting memories. But even with closed eyes and ears, she could still see, hear and feel on her skin as if they were happening to her right now.

She wanted to yank off her skin, dig out her eyes and cut off her ears, but her body wasn't cooperating.

Soon, she heard her own cries.

It hurts

Help me

What is happening to me?

Save me, someone

I'm sorry

Please stop

I want to kill him

Why is this happening to me?

What did I do?

It hurts

I want to end it

Somebody kill me

I want to die

I can't...

Not only did she hear it, she remembered each moment she said that and felt the emotions burn her like an untamed wildfire. Setting up her mind and body ablaze and making her insane.

She wanted to run away, but she couldn't.

Help me, she screamed, but no one responded. She didn't know if this continued on, she could remain lucid.

"Eirene!" Like a gust of wind, the wildfire died down and gradually, she could really see and feel, not her memories or illusion.

The first thing she registered when her physical eyes were opened wasn't the ceiling of some place or the owner of the voice. It was a pale ghosty-looking hand. It almost appeared to be curved out of jade from how flawless. And it had long nails, scratching her skin and tickling her eyelashes.

The hand with long black nails as sharp as a blade was just a few centimetres away from her face, more specifically her left eye. It was as if the hand was drawn to it and wanted to dig it out to keep it to itself.

"Eirene, you are fine! Nothing's happened." He said, and the hand in front of her eyes was put away.

It was then that she could see her surroundings.

She was on a white bed in the middle of a cosy room. There was a table set nearby with a vase full of fake flowers. A TV was across the bed, but it was not on, leaving the room quiet. On her left side was a closed moss-green carpet. Although it was closed, the sun rays still penetrated through the material and illuminated the room. That was how the room was bright enough despite the light being off.

"Eirene?"

She turned to the origin of the voice with a confused gaze. As she expected, Ares was there. But what further confused her mind was the fact that he was hovering over her with his arms stretched like a pair of pillars next to her face. His expression was also weird. He looked like he was struggling as if he was holding down a ferocious beast.

"Do you remember me?" He asked worriedly with lines between his brows without shifting the position.

Eirene nodded faintly, not needing to think or search through her memories.

"Do you know who you are?"

She took a second to answer. "Eirene... Queen..." Her answer was not convincing even to herself. But why was he asking her that?

After staring into her eyes for a long time, he lightly exhaled with an expression of relief. He then told her slowly as if he was facing a child. "I'm going to release your hands." That was when Eirene registered Ares wasn't trapping her between his arms but simply holding her hands down beside her face. She finally realised the hand she saw was her own hand that was drained of blood.

She nodded again and felt the foreign energy return to her arms. She could feel the warmth of his body from where he had his hands around. And from there, her touch sense slowly spread like the hot water sinking through after staying numb in the snow.

Although her mind hadn't caught up to the present and her sight was a little misty, her brain could still register Ares studying and not letting go of her wrists.

After a few minutes, the boy brought her right wrist to the left and held them together. "I'm going to lift you up." He stated and carefully wrapped his free arm under her back and let her sit straight, leaning onto the headboard.

His arm and hand were very cautious of where it was making contact and retracted in a flash after their job was done. He then once again looked into her eyes and said, "I'm really going to let go of your hands. Promise me you won't do that again."

Although he was not specifying what, she knew very well he was talking about the incident that happened minutes ago. "I promise." She spoke hoarsely.

Instantly, he separated her hands and placed them beside her like he was handling the precious dough.

"Sorry." He murmured, "You must be thirsty." Ares backed away from the bed and got ready to sit but instead fell on his buttock, stilling the actress on the bed. His fall was quite hard, and he appeared confused.

"...I thought the chair was right here-" He rose to his feet as he caressed where he had hit and looked around just to find the chair he used to sit and a small table on the other side. "I wasn't sitting on this side."

He walked over to her right side, scratching his head and sat on he was supposed to sit. "Sorry about that." He was blushing lightly on the ears as he passed the water into her hands.

Eirene tried her best to raise her arms and reach for the water she desired, but no matter how much she tried, they were heavier than bars of iron, and she could only twitch the tips of her finger.

Ares quickly noticed her attempts and hurriedly climbed on the bed. "Excuse me." She could feel his calm breathing as he sat next to her and gently brought the cup of water to her mouth.

She obediently parted her lips just as he tilted the cup. Cool water flowed down her throat, hydrating its surrounding as it passed by. The way he tilted the cup as she drank more was just perfect. It wasn't too slow or too fast, allowing her to feel refreshed.

"Ah!" Just as she finished the cup, he exclaimed softly. He got off the bed and searched his bag hanging on the chair. He pulled out a pink juice box and showed her the straw that came along with it. "I'm sorry."

Now that her throat was no longer dry as a desert, she tilted her head slightly and asked softly. "Why are you sorry?"

"I didn't think of this sooner and made you feel uncomfortable..." He answered as he placed the juice on the tiny table and refilled the cup again with water. He looked very pitiful with that expression of guilt.

Eirene answered without sparing a beat. "Who said I was uncomfortable?"

Ares looked up from the refilled cup through his brows but looked down again. With pouted lips, he moved them side to side as if trying to escape from being put on an imaginary lipstick. "Do you want another cup?"

Eirene nodded.

The boy looked serious and cautious as he once again climbed on the bed next to her. This time, his movements were fluid and calm when he placed the straw he removed from the juice on her lips.

Eirene was ready to suck in the water when she felt multiple stabbing pain in her heart as if a hedgehog decided to roll into her and make a rampage.

As a natural reaction, she gasped, and her hands flew to her chest. Her nails desperately scratched the clothes and the skin to break free from the torture that grew by the second.

But before those nails could reach the bones, Ares pulled her hands away from her chest and held them above her head with great struggle.

"Ms Queen! Eirene!"

The agony was still haunting her. And now that her hands were captured, she had no choice but to try to flee from the grip. She groaned and kicked around until the pain was subdued, and she had her rational mind.

When Ares saw that she was no longer going crazy, he dropped her hands and hesitantly touched her forehead, thinking she had a fever.

"...Tie my hands up." Eirene weakly requested.

The boy instantly withdrew his hand from her face with panic. "What?!"

"I won't be able to control myself if this happens again and will cause you a lot of trouble. Please tie my hands."

She submitted her hands to him feebly.

Ares frowned but in the end, he brought a tie from his bag and delicately wrapped her fragile wrists. He then with great care, lifted her arms up and tied the ends to one of the implanted metal bars on the wall. Unexpectedly, the way he tied the knot appeared very professional as if he had been doing it since he was born.

When Eirene sighed in relief, the boy also sighed with his hand placed over his chest. But soon, his eyes widened and frantically swept over the bed. The cup of water he had in his hand fell when Eirene rushed to get to her heart and spilt the whole content on the bed and... her.

"Oh no!" Ares hurriedly removed the covers off of her and touched her top without thinking.

Right then, there was the sound of clicking doors and somebody entering. "Ares, I'm coming in. I know she's asleep but I've brought-" Jaxon stopped in his tracks and his jaw dropped as he saw Ares on his way to remove clothes off the actress. "OH SH*T!"

The actress and the boy were frozen on the spot when another man showed up from behind Jaxon. "What happened?!"

Eirene saw her older brother become a statue and settle the identical black luminous eyes as hers on the boy on top of her.
