Kate proceeded to take out the few crystals with red and purple color from her space. Those were the crystals she had collected over the past few hours when she was hunting those giant insects.
Uh, hunting didn't seem to be the correct word.
She was technically killing them when they hadn't turned conscious yet. It seemed that her waking up earlier had done her good.
Kyle's eyes narrowed. "Did you get them from hunting those insects along the way?"
In fact, he had found it strange that there were a lot of rotting insects from the path of his house and then outside. It was because of it that he thought of his little cat whom he hadn't seen and felt that she might have some connection with it.
Now that he saw these crystals, he could basically confirm that those were indeed Kate's handiwork.
