"I can literally hear my heartbeat," I whisper to myself, my face flushed and my head pounding. Suddenly, Tom's concerned voice breaks through my thoughts. "My lord, are you okay?" he asks. I reply firmly, "Yes, why are you asking?" Trying to downplay my discomfort.

Tom observes, "Well, your face is red. Are you sick? Should I call a doctor?" I take a deep breath, trying to regain composure, and respond, "I'm okay." My mind races as I contemplate the recent events. Yes, I kissed her, but it was in the heat of the moment. In my defense I was angry and my monsters side effected me.

"Sir"

But even if I was angry I shouldn't do that?

" Sir"

But she just a spoiled brat I just wanted to make him shut up

" Sir" Tom interrupts my thoughts. "What?" Caught off guard by his voice "We are interrogating this girl, remember? What happened between you and the lady?"
