Chapter 2 Crisis in disguise...

Yan Shu went to open the door after hiding the money,

Behind the door, there was a huge man with a masculine body wearing a government official outfit, big eyes, black skin, and a dreadful look, on a whole, cruelty speaking from his looks.

YanShu stepped back and he barged in mercilessly, he was more like a beast, he went straight to her and hit Yanshu, she fell on the ground,

"hey kiddo... where is your sister, I heard you have a girl hidden here...!!"

Yanshu and her father were startled, her identity was kept a secret, and no one, other than her cousin, Yun knows about it, but YanShu was appalled,

" how did these people get to know?, did Yuner sell me out, for money? what can I do now?"

She was in her qualms, and that beast came forward to hit her again, she cried in pain, and her Yaofan rushed to him and fell on his legs, begging for mercy, but he lack humanity, he asked again,

"you guys hid her from us, you do have a gut for that,"

he turned back and called for his soldiers, three of them rushed in holding a man,

Yanshu saw him and recognized him, he was one of the merchants she traveled with, and now she understood that it was he who informed them about her,

" it was her, this boy is a girl, sir, she is a beauty, nobody but you deserve her," said that merchant,

That government official came near Yanshu and pulled her hair bun, gave her a deep look, and his eyes filled with lust.

"why didn't you tell me, baby? I would have been nice to you"

Yaofan hurried to the mud pile and took out the hidden money,

"Sir, please she is a small kid, please take this money and let this slide, please have mercy"

That beast hit him with his leg under his chest, Yaofan, was already sick, he couldn't take it, and he fell and coughed blood again...

That man was furious and went to hit him again, but YanShu held on to his legs begging him for pardon.

He finally let him go,

"be ready my love, I'll be here after a week to wed you"

He said that and went out with his men, she ran to her father,

"Father, are you ok?"

she was wailing, her father was barely able to stand now,

" you should have let me die, why did you agree to marry him, it's nothing but a death wish"

he started weeping again,

" why did you do that? why?"

she said, " Father, you told me that there is hope if we are alive, I'll find a way out, don't worry father",

She helped him up, made him lie on the bed, and boiled his medicine for soothing his pain, though she told her father to calm down she was unable to think of any way to escape.

QianFan was completely fascinated by YanShu's beauty, he was unable to move on, sending his troops forward, he went back, to find her, but couldn't find her. He ascertained that she was a fairy or a goddess.

He painted a sketch of the beautiful goddess he saw in the forest and kept it with him where ever he goes. He returned to the capital with victory, to attain prosperity for the war he won.

He was welcomed grandly with celebrations, crackers, fireworks, and music. but he was not here, his mind was still roaming around the goddess.

He was the only son of the Prime minister, Feng Xiyang, of the kingdom, the hope of his father and family, and the desire of many of the noble families. Being the only son he was the darling child of the family, he had three sisters, two of them were bigger than him and one was younger.

His mother was very happy to see him but was concerned to find him absent-minded,

" Qianfan, you just returned with a victory, but you seem to be lost somewhere, tell me, I am your mother, did we do something wrong, or it is anything, else tell me, son, I will support you with all my ability"

Qianfan realized that his difficulties are now a concern to his family and he decided to get over YanShu. he kept her portrait inside a wooden box and locked it. He thought,

"I should cease the desire if I couldn't attain it"

It was the last he thought about her.

The Prime Minister, Feng Xiyang was a very strict man, maybe good but, a man of his name, could kill anyone, and go to any extent for his name and reputation. So everybody else in his family has to obey him and follow the rules he set.

Yanshu and her father couldn't sleep a wink, they kept thinking about how to evade this marriage, and her father got up and called for her,

"Yanshu, ... let's run away, I can't see your life becoming hell my child, I can't do that,"

YanShu consoled her father,

"Father I know, but, he is not an ordinary man, he is powerful, we can't offend him, so we need to think before doing anything, you don't worry, I'll take care of it",

The next day morning she went to buy some necessities with that money,

she bought herbs for her father and some clothes and food for their journey.

When she returned home, there were some ladies, waiting for her,

" Are you the girl, our lord going to marry? but you look like a kid, how old are you?"

Yanshu move forward,

"fifteen years,"

They started laughing,

"my daughter is twenty, so you'll be his twelfth wife, younger than his fourth daughter"

they were giggling and laughing, making fun of her.

YanShu put her head down and went inside her cottage and closed the door. They shouted for a while,

" What a rude bitch, do you think you will be the master of the house, don't forget, you are nothing but a mistress," one of them said.

"come let's go,"

They left from there but, Yanshu was shivering with fear, just imagining that her life will be hell if she couldn't escape. She decided to hurry up and told her father that, they have to leave today at night.

She collected the remaining money, herbs, food, clothing all their requirements, and built a cart for her father, as he couldn't walk, everything was ready but, that man appointed two of his men to look after her.

Those two always keep a close eye on her. So she decided to comatose them for some time and offered them some tea adding herbs to it. they drank it, and soon after that, they fell to the ground. She dragged them one by one into the cottage and left the place with her father at night.

She pulled the cart with her father and escaped from hell, she didn't stop for the whole night, to avoid being chased by them, but before they could gain consciousness, she was already out of the village...

They both entered the city, she sold the statues, the other day. it was a completely new place for them, she disguised herself as a boy again to avoid any other problem...but her life was full of adventures.....
