Arriving Dresden

Darrin stood in front of the king chambers contemplating whether to knock or not, he wondered if what he was about to do was a mistake. He was the guard that had been helping the king with all of the investigations, he was also the king's proposed son in law. Any other man in Darrin's position would be ecstatic but not Darrin .he wasn't feeling happy at all. He took in a deep breath and knocked on the door. "Come in" the king bellowed from inside. Darrin opened the door and entered into the room.

"Oh! It's you Darrin. You shouldn't have knocked on the door, you are family now," the king chuckled. The king seemed to be in a good mood. He poured Darrin a glass of wine from the bottle he was drinking from, "Come, sit down and drink with me."

Darrin took the drink from him and sat sown , he took a sip of the drink before he told the king the reason why he had come.

"There is something I wish to discuss with you ,your highness"

"What could it be?"
