"I guess you got it from the young guy I saw leaving here, who is he?" Chase asked with a smile.

The smile on Clarisse's face disappeared immediately as she hadn't expected that Chase had seen Abraham. She swallowed hard immediately and looked towards the left like Abraham was still there, but he was long gone. She opened her mouth to speak but found no words.

What was she supposed to tell him now? That Abraham was her boyfriend? She hadn't even mentioned it to anyone, not even her mother or her father who had witnessed the whole drama of her trying to bite the life out of him.

"It is okay if you don't want to tell me, I understand." Chase said immediately with a smug smile on his face.

Clarisse waved her head immediately. "No… no! no!! It is not like that at all, he is my friend from school," she replied immediately with a weird cover up smile that wasn't looking too convincing.
