Rosaline was finally done applying the soap on Jedediah's upper body, mostly arms, shoulders, and chest.
"Lord Jed, I shall leave now," Rosaline said, and he tilted his head up to gaze at her.
"Lord Jed?" he raised his eyebrow with confusion.
"Lord Jed is my creditor, so I shall use the title with him. Moreover, I think it will be better if I don't treat him as a friend," she affirmed.
Jedediah chuckled. How fast Rosaline's mood changed, he wondered. "You were the one who wanted to do my work. When I gave you the work, you started to throw tantrums," he remarked.
"When did I throw tantrums? I did what you asked me to do," Rosaline raised her voice at him, and he was amused to see her. "You cannot tell any random woman to help you wash. It's not good and—"
"You are not a random woman, Rose," Jedediah interrupted her in the middle, and she, in bewilderment, peered at him. He realized the reason for her anger.
