Might have a direct Descendant

Ch-15

Adira didn't take Zaros's hand but walked alongside him gracefully as if she didn't see him offering his hand. She rolled her eyes at him. He was angry with her and almost thought that she would be killed by him at that very second. She will teach him that she was not a doll but a person with feelings and emotions.

She won't let him play with her as he wished. Adira was and is the princess of the Werewolf kingdom. She won't let him have control over her and make her feel down in her own land. Even if she wasn't in her land, she will make him respect her if not she will force him to respect her.

Zaros had a sour expression on his face as he noticed her actions. He wanted to grab her waist and pin her to the wall before kissing her senselessly and making her obey him. But he can't. Her brother was here.

With a frustrated expression, he walked along with her. As he was thinking about what to do further, he looked at his mother, feeling someone's gaze Eudora turned. She saw her son was looking at her. He signaled her to walk faster along with hers. She understood what he meant. Eudora started walking faster as she urged Serene with her. Lenora felt something was fishy and turned back to see Zaros was making sure that Adira was walking slowly. She shook her head and pulled Maximus's hand. When he looked at her, she winked at him with a mischievous smile. Seeing almost everyone was ahead of them and Adira and Zaros were slower he pulled her towards a conspicuous corner to devour her lips.

"Can't wait? Huh?" he asked as he pressed himself towards her. As a Vampire, Lenora wore fewer clothes than everyone from the people here. Even Eudora wore fewer clothes but he didn't care.

Maximus could feel her soft flesh against his chest. She wore an off-shoulder dress that exposed her neck to him.

"I badly want you. But have to wait till the wedding," he said frustratedly.

"Sadly," she said as she took his hand and placed it over her chest, making him suck in a sharp breath.

"You are playing with fire," he said in his husky voice.

She rose to her tiptoes and kissed him on his lips lightly and stood in her place. "We have to mix up with everyone, if not they will be worried," Lenora said as she walked out of the conspicuous corner and walked in light in a way that everyone could watch her. Maximus grunted and walked behind her.

On the other side….

Zaros saw everyone left leaving them alone. He pushed Adira to a wall and pressed himself on her.

But Adira has no expression on her face. She looked calmly at him and gave a lazy look.

"Your Grace, we should reach the Great Witch's tower with everyone. I hope your anger can wait for some time till we return from the tower," Adira said and started walking away disregarding the stunned Zaros behind.

When Zaros realized what happened he appeared in front of her at a vampire speed making her bump into his chest.

"Brother, why are you here?" Adira asked with furrowed brows as she looked behind Zaros. Zaros felt tensed for a second and turned back, but that distraction gave room to Adira. She quickly disappeared into one of the hallways. When Zaros looked again… he saw her with the bunch of people who were walking towards the Great Witch's tower.

He was surprised to see her with the batch. He wondered how she managed to reach them so fast. But again… this was her palace and she knew the routes and things weren't surprising.

Zaros wanted to bang his head on the wall in frustration. Just then, he felt a sudden rush of air from his side. Turning his head, he saw Lenora. A hint of disdain appeared on his face.

"Even though you hate me, first listen to me. To acquire the werewolf race and rule them is not easy. And even if you want to achieve something that kind there is no need to hurt an innocent lady like this who was protected all her life. Once you get married to her…. You will not be able to break free from grievance if she died in your hands or in front of your eyes," Lenora said.

"You don't …" before he could finish his words.

"Werewolves can give birth, unlike Vampires. Keep it in mind. If luck is in your hands…. You might have a direct descendant than a some turned human as your descendant. If you can't love her, respect her give them everything she deserves," Lenora said with a stern face.

Zaros couldn't help but agree with his sister's words. The love he has for her as her sibling couldn't be hidden in his heart. A part of him yearned to listen to the words she said two years ago personally.

"Did you really kill her?" Zaros asked suddenly disregarding the fact that it might not be the safe place, or time or situation to ask.

Lenora was silent for sometime.

"I didn't. And I found clues to find the killer," Lenora said and started taking the steps to walk away from him.

"What happened that night?" he asked again.

"I remember nothing. All I remember was… when I got my consciousness back… I saw Emperor Azezal Laroch and the Princess's lifeless body drained from blood," Lenora said and walked away from him.

She doesn't want to tell him more details. She hoped he forget that matter and let her solve it. And also hoped he treats Adira well. She was a great woman. And if nurtured well she could become a great asset in the future.

Lenora quickly joined the group leaving Zaros alone to fend for his thoughts.

Zaros when he came out of his thoughts decided to rest his thoughts and join the group to reach the Great Witch's tower.

Soon, everyone reaches the gates of the Great Witch's tower. It was dark and giving of a murderous aura scaring people away.
