Soon, the trumpets rang announcing it was time for them to start the rituals. She started praying for the moon goddess and the deity, who was the founder of the first werewolf in werewolf history.

First, she prayed to the moon goddess to give strength and energy to the king and queen to rule her children. Second, she prayed to the deity asking her to give her blessings to her descendants to rule her other children safely.

Third, she took the consent of the citizens if they want these two to be their king and queen again. After getting the consent, she started her rituals. There was a pillar in front of a deity with four feet in height. There was a big stone-made bowl on it. In it was nothing but empty air. Elphaba walked ahead and cut a few strands of hair from Maximus and she did the same with Lenora.

Taking those hair strands she put them in the stone bowl-like thing which was on the pillar. She chanted a few spells. In seconds, the bowl started burning with a fire fiercely to the point that Elphaba has to take a few steps back.

She didn't expect the lamp would be burning this fiercely. The werewolf citizens who saw that the lamp was burning fiercely started making howling noises showing their happiness for the couple.

The burning strength of the lamp was equal to the prosperity and the power of a royal couple in their kingdom. Previously, the same Maximus stood with his first wife but it didn't burn. There was only a faint flicker of fire before it extinguished. Elphaba kindly advised them to sever their mate bond but they didn't listen and went on with it.

But now seeing the divine lamp of the deity was burning brightly made the werewolves howl in happiness.

"The fiercer it burns, the stronger the couple bond. The stronger the couple bond, the safer the kingdom and its citizens," Serene explained to Eudora.

Eudora smiled at her explanation. Deep inside her heart, she felt genuinely happy for her child. Lenora would be happy from now on.

With happiness feeling inside, she smiled widely.

Elphaba walked ahead and took out a transparent stone. A transparent stone meant it has no use and has no power, it was as good as a glass piece. Yes, this transparent stone was a glass piece melted and turned into the shape of a pentagon.

Throwing the stone into the fire, Elphaba went on with her chants again. As she chanted, the fire turned fiercer with every passing second before it burst out, almost damaging the sacred lamp pillar.

Elphaba stretched her hand and opened her palm as she still continued to chant her chantings. Soon, a purple stone came flying from the lamp bowl before it rested in her palm.

"It's the blessing of the deity and moon goddess. The divine Amethyst!!! The rarity, the blessing, and a boon to the Werewolf empire!" Elphaba announced in her high-pitched voice.

Howls and hootings could be heard among the crowd. A large smile made its way onto the faces of the ministers of Werewolves. Serene was the happiest among everyone. Even Adira was very happy at the turn of events.

"What does Amethyst stone resembles?" Eudora asked.

"Generally Amethyst is the symbol of money, respect, and success. But also it is known as the 'key to success'. This kind of stone hasn't appeared for ages in history. This rare thing happened tonight which meant only good things," Serene explained.

Few of the Vampire ministers who heard the explanation nodded their heads in satisfaction.

Looks like it wasn't vain in to exchange their princess for the kingdom's safety.

Unknowingly they felt proud. Even they don't know the reason for the pride they were feeling.

Elphaba walked towards them with the stone. There were two rings and there was someplace in the middle of the ring as if it was left for them to fit in a stone.

She made both of them wear the rings. Walking towards Lenora, she chanted again, the stone melted and precisely fell into the place left for the stone in the ring. It burned the skin of Lenora but she didn't make any sound as she tried to maintain her 'cool' image as the queen. When it was filled to the brink, Elphaba moved to Maximus. The remaining half stone was filled in the ring. Unlike Lenora, Maximus winced and stepped back in pain as the ring filled with the stone.

When it was done, she moved back. The fire in the divine lamp extinguished.

Then comes the main part of the ritual. The crowning time. Servants came forward with the crowns. They were heavily decorated with white stones and pearls. Maybe this was the reason why the crowns are called Moon Crowns.

Elphaba placed the crown on Maximus's head after offering the crown to the moon goddess and the deity. Lenora's neck hurt just by watching Maximus wearing the crown. She wondered how it would be to her.

Soon, it's her turn to wear the crown.

'Ouch,' she winced internally seeing the size and weight of the tiara.

It was not anything she imagined to be like. Why in the hell the tiara seems so heavy!?!

The Vampire Tiara is very less in weight. But the Werewolf Tiara it looked so heavy.

Before she could complain something in her head about the tiara, Elphaba already placed the tiara on her head making her strain her head.

'Damn!' Lenora literally want to curse the goldsmith who made the tiara!

How could one make a tiara with this much weight? Now she understood why her mother-in-law went with very less or equal to no hair accessories.

The tiara itself was enough to make her neck strained.

"Now, I know why you said no head accessories or minimal accessories," Eudora commented looking at the Tiara on Lenora's head.

"I know it right? I have been there in that place," Serene said.
