"You liked them all?" Eudora asked Adira as they sat down and started having desserts.

"Yes. They are beautiful." Adira replied with a smile.

"In Vampira, you won't find much thicker clothes as you found in Werewolfia. So, I ordered the maids to buy the finest clothes for you and made them sew clothes for you," she said.

"I am grateful for your thoughtfulness, Queen Mother," Adira said.

Eudora smiled.

"The lotus rose cakes are delicious. Try them," Eudora said with a smile. There were a few seconds of silence between them.

"I know the wedding night is delayed because your marriage happened here. But we have to hold your wedding in Vampira again. After that, we will hold the wedding night. We will have to crown you after your wedding night.

"Zaros is an impatient person. Please hold him back," Eudora said.

Adira doesn't know what to say anymore. She was just as speechless as a hedgehog.

She doesn't know anything to reply to. Adira just nodded her head to her and grabbed a lemon cake and took a big bite from it.

Eudora almost chuckled out loud at her innocence.

If it was Lenora she would stay calm and would say, 'I will take care. Hopefully, your son would listen to me too,'.

They spent some more time there before they excused themselves to do their work. Adira informed others that she wouldn't be joining in helping the crowning day arrangements as she has to take care of her clothes, and things for tomorrow's crowning ceremony, ball, and twilight fest.

Arranging the dress and jewelry would take time for her. And to her dismay, Zaros asked her to arrange clothes for him too.

She just wanted to go sleep but this guy. Sigh…

He embarrased her in front of her mother-in-law and her hand maid Celine. This was the freaking second time. She wanted to yell and scold him but she didn't or couldn't.

With a sigh she walked inside the walk-in closet along with her maid and started arranging things for him.

Zaros was in his study...

He waited for his men to send him information about his sister. But no information came to him.

Zaros was so frustrated that he wanted to kill someone. It has been days since he recieved that someone saw his sister and there were no tails. He can't afford to wait for a long time. They were leaving the werewolfia soon. The coronation was tomorrow only.

What to do?

He needs to get information sooner.

He can't wait any longer. So, he decided to take help of his brother-in-law.

After deciding to talk about this to his brother-in-law, he decided to talk with his sister. After all, the three of them were siblings. If he lets her know she will take care of the things.

And also, she was the biggest victim in the whole ordeal. Given with her intelligence she knows how to move the pawns and when to move the pawns. No one could beat her intelligence in their Vampira. Only Eudora, their mother can beat her.

---------------------------------------

Zaros walked towards the king's chambers. He ordered the guards to let Lenora know about his presence.

Lenora just slept in her chambers after the huge ordeal that happened during lunch. She just straight went to sleep after that. Maid Celine informed the same thing to Zaros. Disappointed, Zaros started walking back.

Maximus who was returning to his chambers saw his brother-in-law, who was returning with a sullen expression.

"Shall we have a chat, Werewolf King?" Zaros asked as he looked at his brother-in-law who was walking towards the chambers.

Maybe it wouldn't be bad talking with his brother-in-law.

"Sure," Maximus replied and walked along with him.

They both walked into the King's gardens. There were many nightlight-bloomers that the garden was decorated with. They emitted natural light making the viewers awed by their beauty.

"You have a nice garden," Zaros said.

"I know. Your sister liked this garden very much," Maximus said.

"I never thought she would like flowers," Zaros commented as he looked around.

"You never know many things about her or anybody," Maximus said with a slight scoff.

"But I know them," Zaros said, understanding the sarcasm and the meaning.

"Such a shame. Whenever you try to understand a person they get hurt," Maximus remarked.

Zaros couldn't defy him. Zaros could tell that Maximus knows everything about the Victoria stuff. And he was sure Lenora told him. He confirmed that during their discussions during the court play.

"Looks like the Werewolf King knew everything about Victoria," Zaros pointed out.

"Of course. Your sister is my wife. She says everything to me. Because she TRUSTS me," Maximus said with a smirk which annoyed Zaros.

Zaros clenched his jaw as he looked at Maximus with a hardened gaze.

He wanted to punch Maximus very hard on his face but he had no reason to do that.

Maximus has every reason to punch Zaros.

"Since she trusts you help her," Zaros said trying to rile him up by acting stupid.

"And again you will sit in your chair watching her struggle as usual. Oh, wait… you will sit while tormenting my sister," Maximus remarked.

"I never hurt your sister intentionally," Zaros said through his clenched teeth.

"Oh! As long as us abusing her isn't intentional then it's okay?" Maximus taunted him back.

"I just wanted to talk. Not fight," Zaros said.

"But all I want is to fight. You deserved to get beaten by me," Maximus didn't hide his desires from him.

"You!" Zaros was speechless at his blunt nature.

Before he could say something or react. A punch of thrown on his face bruising his snow-white skin. Before he could recover another punch landed on his nose disfiguring his nose. Blood started flowing down his nose. Before he could wince the wound started healing up on its own due to his vampire abilities.

Zaros stood calm without retaliating as he took Maximus's punches.

Maximus continued to beat him up till he felt his anger dissipate.

"Maximus! Stop!" A yell was heard in the garden.
