Jael was sitting in the study once more with Louis across from him, and as usual, Louis was glaring down at Jael. "What's so important that you had to drag me out here?" Jael asked, leaning back against his seat as he also eyeballed Louis.
"You can't really be planning on telling her," Louis said.
"Tell her what?" Jael asked.
Louis glared at him. "We've gone too far for you to pretend you have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm trying to help here. Don't make this any more difficult than it already is."
"I still don't know what exactly you're talking about. There are a lot of things to tell her."
"About the pregnancy."
"You said it's possible she isn't pregnant. Actually, your wording was that it's impossible for her to be pregnant."
"But you believe she is," Louis said.
"I have my reasons," Jael responded.
"And you intend to tell her."
"I didn't say that."
