Chapter 31: His Obsession

As the next day comes, Grace was still in a state of shock by what happened all in just one day. 

Yesterday when she arrived home, she immediately looked for her mother, and she saw her in the kitchen. She immediately hugged her mother tightly. Her mother was surprised by the sudden hug and change of attitude in her daughter. She started stroking her head and asks her, 

" What's wrong, baby?" 

Grace took a long time to answer the question of her mother. She ponders...is it alright to tell her mom what happened? Will she be surprised? Of course, she will, her only daughter getting involved in such dangerous matters. In the end, she decided to lie...to tell a white lie...

  "I had an encounter with this person, and this person thinks he's so mighty that everything he says and does is right...and I argued with him...Because of that my whole day is ruined...So let me recharge." 

Mrs. Salmont laughs at this while patting her daughter's head.
