"Now this is more like it. What do you think, Emily?" Jeremy commented and questioned out into the void as he stood in front of the semi-large warehouse that once served as Logan Fell's private sanctuary that he hid in during the daytime in the show.

He had already thrown a vervained Enzo and a knocked out Logan inside the warehouse, and left back out, but only after tying Logan down to a chair, like a typical hostage should be when brought to a warehouse against their will.

He brought the grimoire out of his bag and held it comfortably in his hand and waited for a few seconds for the temperature to slightly change and the mood to shift in his surroundings.

It was then that he was greeted with an overly polite way of speech carried by a beautiful voice from his back. "I would say it is, passable, as far keeping out of sight goes. I assume you desire another barrier spell?" Emily asked him, sounding confident in her assumption...which makes sense seeing as how correct she was.

"I would like to say you're wrong, but when you speak of my desires like that, I have no choice but to answer truthfully. Are you sure your name isn't actually Lucy?" Jeremy asked her, still not turning to meet her gaze, but made sure to let the playfulness be heard in his voice.

Emily stayed silent for a few seconds, like she was contemplating something, "That is one of your references?" Jeremy couldn't help the grin that spread on his face that almost let out a laugh, due to how serious she sounded. He could hear she was actually asking.

"Reference?" Jeremy threw her question back at her as he turned to finally meet her gaze. 'Absolutely gorgeous.'

"........" This time, while he didn't actually laugh out loud, a full blown smile did grace his face as he watched her refuse to play along, which brought it's own form of satisfaction for him.

"Well, to answer your question, you are right, I would like for you to perform a barrier spell around this building, but I also wanted to ask you a few questions about enchanted swords, but that could wait for later. For now, I really want to finish securing this location, so we can move on to phase 3." He could see the last words he spoke caught her interest...which is exactly why he said something as dope sounding as "phase 3".

"Phase, what are these phases? You have yet to tell me what your actual plans are." She said in her same polite tone, though Jeremy could clearly hear the curiosity underlying her tone and also the interest in her gaze.

'Haha, she should know by now that I like playing the role of tall, dark, and mysterious more than anything. The fact that she hasn't even considered leveraging her cooperation for the information she wants just makes me want her by my side even more. There are far too many scheming and conniving witches in this world to not hold on to the two who currently aren't that I literally have within arms reach.' Jeremy thought to himself as he wondered if he should show the beautiful caramel witch some sincerity and let her in on a small part of what exactly he's building towards in his mind.

'Though, if I do, wouldn't that take away half the fun of voyeurism? *Mental sigh* Emily, the things I do for your well-being.' He patted himself on the back as he decided to take the conversation in a different direction, using the opening she gave him to solidify his stance and position in her mind. After all, if she was going to walk through this world with him for a while, he needed her to continue to be willing to do what he asked, since he knew that his requests were only going to get more "extravagant" as time went on.

"If there's one thing that's been made clear by now Emily, it should be that this whole thing isn't about following a plan...it's about achieving a purpose. Now, while I won't tell you how I'll do it, I will tell you what I want to accomplish." He told her, his tone solemn and filled a confident self-assuredness, as he stepped into her space and gave her left cheek an air kiss, since he couldn't physically touch her and followed up by inching towards her ear. "In the end, all I want, all I need to accomplish and what I WILL accomplish, is the happiness of the people I care about." He pulled back from speaking close to her ear and looked her in the eyes, noting the slightly flushed look she was sporting. 'Handsomeness is always a weapon to be used wisely.' He thought before he continued speaking. "Which is exactly what your ancestor with all their power should have done for you and those who came after and before you. However, they lacked the strength. The resolve, and the unity to truly make a difference in this world. However, you are different. You, my dear Emily, are willing to do what you believe you must in order to protect those you love. That is what you do, Emily. That is what I will accomplish, Emily. And together, we will make it so that the people we love will never have to live at the mercy of others, again." By the time he finished, their noses were only inches a part, with their eyes locked on one another's. He knew what he wanted to convey to the beautiful witch and he could see in her honey-almond eyes that she saw it clearly. The will, the resolve, and not only the determination, but the ability to make it so.

They held each other's gazes for longer than most would find comfortable, but Jeremy has never been one to shy away from a challenge, and Emily has never been one to care even a little bit about making a person uncomfortable. After all, if her character was studied carefully, it was clear to see that she was quite the mischievous troll in her time, who would look anybody in the eyes as she fucked them over and dared them to get angry, just like she did with Damon.

'Just thinking about her possessing Bonnie is making me feel some type of way. Though, while she is very easy on the eyes, I feel like she's just really fucking with me at this point with her incessant staring. I already saw in her eyes the moment she accepted my resolve and solidified her own. At this point, I would have to cross her bottom line in a major way for her to part ways with me before we traveled quite far down my road, and while it's not "I'm with you to the end, yet", it is somewhere along the line of "I'll give you my trust until you give me a reason not to", which is pretty much all I nee...' Jeremy's thoughts were interrupted when Emily abruptly broke eye contact with him and casually made her way around him, though not completely since she allowed herself to partially pass through the side of his body, for some reason.

She made her way to the front of the warehouse and raised her arms, as she got underway setting up the barrier spell.

"Make it so that it's set in a way that others need my permission to get in and out, please," he said as he walked up to stand very close behind her, a narrow-eyed smirk playing on his face, as he imagined what it would be like if she were physically present, due to the slight raising of her shoulders when she realized he was so close to her back.

A few seconds of chanting later and it was done.

He saw that her form was beginning to fade.

"So, that's it then. A quickie and then you're gone?" Jeremy spoke, partially looking down and to the side as he raised his arms to cross over his chest protectively, like a lover who was being left shy, naked, and alone...which immediately broke when he saw the sexy ass lips on Emily's face involuntarily turn up.

"Hahaha, damn that's a beautiful smile," He spoke as he looked at Emily from the side. She turned her head slightly in the opposite direction, though not in a bashful manner, but casually like she was just looking at something in that direction, proving once again that she had no problem sitting in the awkward, uncomfortable, or feeling self-conscious. Though, he was pretty sure, if she wanted to, she could definitely pull off flirty, demure, and coy, at the drop of a hat. "One day Emily, I'm going to get you to show those perfect teeth when I make it so you have no choice but to smile, and on that day, for the gift of that vision, I'll give you something in return."

Emily's figure faded off, going from transparent to barely discernable, but not before leaving behind the words, "we shall see".

Jeremy's smile widened into one that he was only showing for the first time in this world and one that he only showed in the past before accepting jobs that he was certain would require him to trade some of his own blood, sweat, and effort, to accomplish. A smile that spoke of the volumes that he was willing to go to accomplish his goals, but at the same time held a hint of recklessness and a desire to conquer the challenge ahead that made one wonder if he was only in it for the thrill...which was only further solidified by the words that accompanied that smile and served as a response to his voyeur, but not the one's he spoke out loud, but the one's that rang through his mind and carried the full extent of his will and intent.

"We shall see." He let the words out into the air and carry over to the ears of his voyeur on the other side of the veil. However, in his mind, another set of words were spoken at the exact same time, which were....

'Challenge Accepted.'
