...
"And that's a threat?" Liam narrowed his eyes at her
"Yes, yes it is, prince Liam." Ivery ran her finger across her neck
Liam rolled his eyes and opened the door, he slammed the door closed behind him as he walked out.
Ivery snapped her fingers and a loud thud was heard outside of the door.
...
"Ah!"
"Prince!" Two female voices said outside the door
...
Ivery opened the door and peeked outside, she saw two maids carrying Liam down the hallway, she smiled and went back into her office, closing the door behind her.
...
It was nighttime and Ivery found herself overworking again. She was too tired to keep on working, her mind kept drifting off and her eyes felt heavy and tried hard to close.
She made her way back to her room and just as she entered her room she stopped to look at Julian who stood in the middle of her room.
"What are you doing here, father?" Ivery asked Julian as she walked to her bed
"I'm here to tell you that it's time for you to go back to your classes in Crescent academy." Julian said solemnly
"Crown prince Luther has already returned to Crescent academy as well." Julian said
"Don't I have to do work tomorrow?" Ivery yawned
"No, I'll take care of most of the work from now on, just go back to the academy starting tomorrow, your carriage to take you there will be arranged." Julian told her with a sad expression, noticing how worn out she was, he felt bad that he's been overworking her but it was the only way to prepare her for what's to come
"Okay..." Ivery laid down and instantly fell asleep on the bed
Julian sighed and left the room, hoping now she could have a break from her royal duties after working so hard for 5 months straight, and she never once complained and did all of her paperwork flawlessly. He was very proud.
....
"Princess.."
"Princess.."
A hand lightly tapped Ivery.
Ivery opened her eyes and rubbed them as she sat up and looked at the maid with a dazed look.
"Here is your uniform, your carriage to Crescent academy is waiting outside." The maid laid Ivery's clothes on the bed, and put Ivery's shoes on the floor beside the bed. She bowed before she left the room.
Ivery sighed and got out of bed.
She went to her private bathing quarters and took a soothing bath.
Ivery had told the maids years ago that they didn't have to dress her, she could do it just fine by herself. When she got out of the bath and dried herself, she began to put on her uniform.
...
She ran down the long stairs outside the castle, and ran up to the carriage. The carriage door was opened for her and she quickly got inside, she was going to be late to her first class at this rate. As usual, the carriage ride was a bit long but she had time to relax and ended up taking a nap in the carriage.
...
The carriage stopped in front of Crescent academy and Ivery was still fast asleep. A black carriage, lined and decorated with pure gold had also arrived and stopped behind Ivery's.
The carriage door opened and Luther stepped out, noticing the carriage in front of him all too well.
The coachman was about to open the door to Ivery's carriage but just he saw Luther walking up the carriage he bowed and walked back to the front of the carriage.
Luther opened the door to Ivery's carriage and there beheld his sleeping beauty.
He stepped in the carriage and smiled as he saw her sleeping face that he missed so much. He picked her up from her seat and took her out of the carriage. He closed the carriage door and made his way to the school.
The MVP's stepped out of Luther's carriage, excluding Juliana who had been eventually removed from being an MVP a few weeks ago after she decided to express her displeasure for Ivery to the other MVP's and Luther coincidentally overheard. For Luther that was the last straw, he had no more tolerance for Juliana so he removed her completely from her status as an MVP, removed her from their S-classes, and demoted her to class-B.
The only reason he hadn't killed her earlier was because she was the daughter of King Orel Lecres and Fresia has an alliance with their country, killing her would anger his father since their alliance was beneficial to a few parts of the empire and he always made sure not to act against an allied country without his father's permission. So the most he could do was demote her and keep her as far away from Ivery as possible, despite how much he wanted to kill her.
...
The nobles and royals that saw Luther and the others, gathered around them but they all made sure to not get too close and not stand in their way.
Ivery opened her eyes due to all of the commotion around, she noticed she was being carried, she looked up and saw Luther's incredibly handsome face...
"Finally awake?" Luther asked with a smile
"H..How.." Ivery looked around
"You were sleeping in your carriage." Luther said
"Was I? I didn't even realize I fell asleep.." Ivery rubbed her eyes
"You've been working hard lately, you deserve as much sleep as you want." Luther told her
"Where are you taking me?" Ivery asked him, not recognizing the way he was going in the school
"To the S-class floor." Luther said
"Why are you taking me there?" Ivery asked him with confusion
"Why? I had you transferred to all of my classes." Luther told her with a wider smile
"All of your classes? Then..." Ivery dreaded the thought that came to her mind
"Yes, you're also an MVP now." Luther happily revealed to her
