Chapter 23

　　Our maids were surprised to see us being together. It overwhelmed me as well. Xlyde and I looked like lovers and this was so surreal. He did not attend to work now. It was not that I was forcing him to leave. Besides, he was the boss. He held and managed the time.

　　"I will go to the national bookstore now," I stated as I needed to buy books for our lessons. I wanted to personally buy it as I was curious what the national bookstore looked like. Books gave me hints, but it would be nice if I would really step into that kind of place, right?

　　"You can request to our maids and give them a list," he told me. "Some people might attack you."

　　"I will take care," I promised. He looked at my hand which was raised in the air. He chucked but worries overflowed - worries? Really?!

　　He looked away and leaned his back. He was watching an action movie on Netflix. I never heard him inviting me but there was a space in his seat that maybe he prepared for me- okay, I was thinking too much.
