Chapter 9, New Friend

In the study room of the dragon queen,

Three people are sitting around a round table doing nothing but look at each other.

"So what brings you here to visit me so suddenly?" Asked Rebekah her two friends with a small smile.

"Well, can't we come to visit our friend once in a while?" Asked Virgil with an easygoing smile.

"Cut the bullshit Virgil and stop saying useless things," said Rebekah sharply to the easy-going Virgil.

"Okay, okay calm down Rebekah, we are actually here for two things," said Sylvia with a smile.

"They are?" Said Rebekah in a soft voice to her friend with whom she shared a lot of life and death battles and memories.

"Why are you so eager to kick us out of here aren't we friends or what?" asked Sylvia with fake tears in her eyes.

"I want to spend all my time with my son so get it out already, or you go out and leave Emilia to make friends with Kevin as I can't have his first meeting with his first new friend short" said Rebekah in a serious tone that at the end nearly broke with the smile that threatened to appear on her face.

"Okay the first thing here is about the changes that have been happening lately all over the Universe," said Sylvia seriously

"Yes, there have been many geniuses appearing lately this era and the last era and they are really no joke, it is like the Universe is preparing for something or waiting for something" added Virgil in an annoyed tone since this situation has been troubling him lately.

"How can I not take notice of all of this, lately the birth rate of the dragons increased which was a very suspicious thing, and don't make me talk about the trouble lately occurring in all the galaxies under the dragon race control from the appearance of many hidden realms and hidden worlds with a lot of opportunities which led to many fights happening for them that it started to get under my skin with all those reports that have been piling recently," replied Rebekah to their words with an annoyed tone, remembering all the work she has, making her more annoyed.

"Well, we have the same thing happening in our domain but of course, we can do nothing as they are not really committing heinous crimes but fighting fairly and openly for opportunities," said Virgil with a helpless sigh.

"Although this will benefit the younger generation, this later will spill disaster when all kinds of opportunities appear between different factions domains which will lead to a lot of bloodsheds," said Sylvia with a forced smile.

"Well, the most significant news that only the old generation knows is that the seal in the restricted area has started to weaken," said Virgil in a very serious tone.

"What? How could I not notice this?" Asked Rebekah with a slight tremble in her beautiful voice as she hadn't heard anything yet.

"We just got the news, that's why we come to visit quickly," replied Virgil to the questioning Rebekah.

"Does that mean?" asked Rebekah just to make sure.

"Yes, the universal throne is going to appear in the next Thousand years and you know what that means right?" Said Sylvia with a slight shiver in her voice.

"A lot of bloodshed and destruction are coming to the universe to see who is worthy to sit on the throne whether, from this generation or the last one, they will try to restrain each other from sitting on The Throne" replied Rebekah who slumped weakly on her chair after hearing such news.

"Which brings us to our second thing for being here," said Sylvia seriously.

"An alliance through marriage?" Rebekah being a queen for a while wasn't an idiot so after connecting the dots quickly she arrived at a certain conclusion but she decided to ask to be sure.

"Bingo, a marriage between the dragon prince and vampire princess will solidify our relationship and makes our two races come closer in the upcoming era where there be a lot of death and destruction like we have read from our archives," said Virgil with a clear voice.

"Are you really going to marry your second daughter just like that without considering her feelings?" Asked Rebekah with a raised eyebrow since as far as she knew he is a doting father from what she heard from her daughter as Emilia has a big sister which is a friend of Alina.

"Of course not, we are here just to lay the groundwork for their relationship by introducing them to each other and bringing this to you, as for whether they will end up together or not that is up to fate," said Sylvia with a smile.

"Well, I can't give you any answer because I won't force my son into a relationship no less a political marriage, as for alliance we can have a normal Alliance for now as for marriage we will wait until they both grow up and let nature take its course as you just said," said Rebekah with a visible amusement on her face.

"Of course, we won't force our daughter to marry someone she doesn't like, so for now that's okay," said Virgil with a smile.

And with that, they continued to discuss the details of the alliance and other small things they might have overlooked in their conversation.

Meanwhile somewhere around the palace.

Kevin was taking the vampire princess around the palace for a walk, then he led her to the guest's room.

The room was decorated with a lot of jewels on the walls, and there is a fancy chandelier hanging from the ceiling that has a few low- Gin stones to illuminate the room.

There was a small table in the middle of the room between two large couches that Kevin used when he entered the room with Emilia.

After inviting her to sit on the other couch, he didn't have any idea of what should he discuss with a four-year-old child.

"I heard that all dragons are horny, is that true?" said Emilia suddenly while I was thinking what to do in this kind of situation.

After hearing her say these words I gave her a blank look, it took me a few seconds to register what she just said.

"Huh, who taught you something like that?" I asked with a slightly higher tone as I was completely shocked by what a 4 years old kid was saying.

"From my mother and books," said Emilia in an innocent tone.

I nearly spit blood from hearing this, but I have no other choice but to correct her lest she thinks I am a pervert when we grow or something.

"No, not all dragons are horny only the dragons that can't control their instinct" replied Kevin with a tired tone.

And just like that, the almost silent atmosphere was filled with all kinds of different talks until dinnertime came and Emilia left with her parents after having dinner and tea with us.
