We were currently in Miya's house, in her living room to be exact and I was facing Miya who looked at me with curious eyes. Her mother Hayley was sitting next to me with her hands in her lap. We were sitting in silence before I broke it.

"Ask the questions in you mind sweetheart, I know you have a lot" I told her and she hesitantly opens her moth to speak.

"How?" Was all she could breath out.

"She lived with me and raised me before she disappeared" I looked back at Hayley who had guilt in her eyes.

"Oh" was all she could say.

"How did you two meet?" Now it was Hayley's turn to talk

"Bowling ally"

"She mate"

We both said at the same time and Haley had the biggest smile on her face. She took my hand in her and she squeezed it slightly.

"Really she's you mate?" She asked me in disbelief and I just nodded my head.

"Urm excuse me can someone please tell me what mate is?" I looked her with wide eyes and shock written on my face but then I remembered the conversation we had earlier today.

"Why didn't you tell her about us why did you keep her in the dark?" I asked her with sorrow in my voice.

"It was for the safety of myself and her" I looked at her with a confused look.

"What do you mean" I looked at her waiting for my answer.

"As long as I was there and alive they would have come for me they hated the fact that there Alpha was human and they all wanted to take my life so for the safety for myself my children and the pack I left"

The information was slowly sinking into me and I tried to proses what she has just said.

"Children?" I looked at her confused , she had more then one child?

"Yes Chubby you are also my child" my heart warmed up at her words.

"But you left after Alpha John died how is it possible" she let out a little laugh and looked at me with her eyes filled with life and love.

"Do you remember days before the war when we were in the garden and you asked me why I was getting so fat?" I smiled at the memory

(Flashback)

"Come on Chubby lets go inside and I'll make you some hot chocolate" I looked at her with a big smile on my face I love hot chocolate it was my favorite.

"Ok but first tell me why you look so much bigger than your normal size?" She looked at me with a confused look till I pointed at her stomach

"Why are you growing so fat?" She looked at me with wide eyes and laughed so hard I thought she was ganna cry.

"Oh my baby my Chubby little boy" she coos me I watched as a lone tear fell of her cheek. I placed my small hand cheek and wiped it away.

"No no no please don't cry I didn't mean to make you cry H" she took my had and smiled at me.

"Am crying because am happy Chubby if I told u am ganna bring you a present that I want you to protect and keep happy will you do that for me?" She asked and I nodded.

"I'll do anything for you H"

End of flashback

"Yes I remember and you never got me the present" I looked at her and she laughed. If you haven't noticed already Hayley is a very bubbly person she loves the laugh.

" She is the present Chubby" she pointed to Miya who was listening to us carefully. When she realized what her mother said her face dropped before she spoke.

"Tell me very thing from the beginning"

Two hours later

"I understand now but that doesn't mean am just going to drop everything and go with you because you claim to be my mate, it's just not possible" after e explained everything to her an surprised she didn't freak out.

"It's ok Miya I understand we can take this slow" I know she's human so it will be hard to convince her, but I don't want to let go I'll do anything I get her.

" How so?" She asked with a confused face

" Will you go on a date with me?" She looked shocked for a minute but then it changed to confusion seconds later it changed to happiness.

"Sure i would love to" was her reply and I couldn't help the big smile on my face, she's going to give us a chance. My wolf howled in happiness.

" You can choose the time and day" i told her but I didn't get the reply she said because of Alex.

"Alpha you need to come back to the pack house" he mind linked me and he sounded some how scared as some how ......... happy

"Why what's wrong" I asked knowing that it must be something important.

" we got a lead to were she is, you need to come home Alpha. When he said that I immediately knew who he was talking about.

"I'll be right there Alex" I cut of the mind link and saw Miya looking at my hands with shocked eyes. I looked down to see what she was looking at and immediately let go of the glass that I smashed in my hands.

"Am sorry I didn't mean to I just I-I'll - I just-" I was cut of by Miya coming and putting her small hand on my cheek. It felt so worm and nice, I instantly leaned into her touch, she rubbed small circles around my cheek with her thumb.

"It's ok Perish," The way she said my name just made me feel at peace.

"Come one lets get your hand cleaned up" she let go of my cheek and gently pulled my hand I could feel the little tingles in my skin shooting all the way up my arm.

"No it's ok look it's already healed" she looked down at my hand to see it healed she smiled but still tugged at my hand.

"You still need to wipe all that blood away" she pulled me away to the kitchen.

When we were done I was standing at the door ready to leave when Miya spoke up

"Can I at least get your number?" I turned to look at her With a smile she stuck out her phone for me to take.

"Sure" I took her phone and put my number in I saved it as Mate because that's what I am

" I'll see you on Friday at 7:00?" She spoke again

"Definitely" I turned around and just as I was about to step out Hayley called out for me with tears in her eyes

" Are you going to find her?" She asked

" How did you know" I looked at her with shook I don't remember telling her

"When You was mind linking you broke the glass and said 'mom' that's how I know" I gave her a hug because I needed one and so did she.

" I promise I'll do everything and anything in my power to bring her back this is not goodbye Hayley"
