The day for their first date came a lot quicker than any of them expected - Carter had spent most of the week trying to come up with something Daniel would like he kept trying to keep in mind the rule Daniel had set, not something over the top - he could understand Daniel a bit since the younger man wasn't sure of his feelings Carter was sure that Daniel just didn't want him to spend a lot of money and in the end if Daniel does like him, he didn't want Carter to feel like the reason he liked him was because of their extravagant dates.
