A special visit
Jane who did not seem to even know what she had caused got up and bowed to the elders, excusing herself. She immediately rushed upstairs.
Rose stared at her departing figure, got up and did the same thing but before she left, she turned towards Anna and Edward, "Congratulations by the way, you two fit each other just perfectly."
She rushed upstairs, he mouth itching for some gossip, leaving Ryan trying to suppress his laughter.
He stood up and gave the couple a look, "You know, if you two have come here to brag or annoy my sister, sorry to disappoint you. She even forgot your existence."
He bowed down to the elders, "I will be upstairs with the girls."
Anna looked at Ryan's back and never even cared to conceal her hatred. She looked at the elders, "Edward and I came to inform you that we will be planning our engagement soon. You all will be invited, including Jane."
She took Edward's hand and dragged him out of the mansion.
