A Small Lesson (2)

During a Transcendent Rank, the most significant upgrade one could have is the upgrade of a Domain. It is like the land that you cultivated has prospered enough to be called a city.

It is another threat that can dictate the result of the battle between two experts. And even though everyone would get an upgrade, the utilization of their Domains would still be categorized into three. Offensive, Defensive, and Support.

Remilia's Graveyard of Blades was naturally an offensive type. And that Serpent Knight that I killed was possibly a defensive or support type. If not for my Energy Control and the corruption from the Chaotic Energy that riddled his body, I would have no way of defeating him. Escaping might not be impossible but it would be difficult. It's only because of my specialized capability that I trusted myself to be able to escape back then. Alas, the appearance of the Space Beast turned the tide in my favor.
