There's a reason behind Leon's sudden remarks. Mordo also known as, Baron Mordo, who once became Doctor Strange's greatest enemy.

However, the Karl Mordo in the comic universe differs from the movie universe. In the comic universe, Karl Mordo is the most ambitious one and is similar to Kaecilius.

In the comic verse, Karl Mordo colluded with the Dormammu to murder his master, the Ancient One, and was subsequently exiled to the other dimension.

In the movie universe, his origin story has been altered. Karl Mordo is portrayed as a righteous individual who abhors evil. However, due to his pedantic and rigid nature, he can't tolerate even a hint of darkness, leaving him unsure of how to approach certain situations.

Leon gazed deeply at Mordo's retreating figure, pondering over his thoughts. It wasn't until the Ancient One stood before him, wearing a serious expression, that his reverie was broken. "You possess a dangerous inclination towards violence," she stated.

She seemed to perceive something.

Leon teasingly ruffled his hair. "Oh Look my hair's gotten a bit long."

The Ancient One glanced at his short, tousled hair. Where does it grow?

"How's that even possible?" Leon quipped. "Considering my real form as Doomsday, shouldn't I be bald?"

He playfully insinuated that even the Ancient One was bald, so why wasn't he?

Ancient One didn't directly address his comment. Instead, she responded in line with Leon's diversion. "Yesterday, I promised to personally teach you magic. Follow me."

With those words, Ancient One guided Leon outside. The others had departed, leaving Leon to follow in the footsteps of the Ancient One. They arrived at the ancient wooden structure where Ancient One had previously hosted him.

Ancient One produced a newly crafted Sling Ring, ready for use.

Since Leon had taken possession of her previous Sling Ring, Ancient One had forged a replacement.

Observing Ancient One's gesture, Leon retrieved his Sling Ring and slipped it onto his left hand. As Ancient One raised her hand, a portal to the Mirror Dimension emerged.

Leon discreetly stowed away his Sling Ring once more.

Amusement danced in Ancient One's eyes as she remarked, "Given your current strength, using magic casually in the real world could result in catastrophic consequences. Hence, I'll have you train in the Mirror Dimension."

The Mirror Dimension existed as a parallel plane to the primary one—akin to the inner surface of a mirror. In essence, it coexisted with Earth but occupied a distinct realm, like the front and back of a mirror.

The mirrored world replicated all facets of the primary plane, mirroring its environment. From the moment the portal opened, every aspect of the main plane was duplicated.

Crucially, unless accessed through a Sling Ring or breached by an immense force, alterations to the mirrored world wouldn't impact the real world in the slightest.

Consequently, the Mirror Dimension became an ideal training ground. Here, even if Leon were to wreak havoc, it wouldn't jeopardize the real world.

Recognizing Ancient One's intent, Leon stowed away the Sling Ring, knowing it wouldn't be needed as he anticipated.

And so, master and apprentice stepped into the mirrored realm.

The landscape resembled the primary world but held subtle distinctions.

Apart from Leon and Ancient One, the realm appeared uninhabited.

However, here you have visibility of the outside world, while the external world remains unaware of what transpires within.

"I also use it to keep watch over events and potential threats in this world," Ancient One took the initiative to explain to Leon. She often conceals herself here to observe the outside world, yet those beyond remain oblivious to her presence.

Leon's eyes began to wander aimlessly.

Ancient One glanced at him and cautioned, "It's best not to witness things that should remain unseen."

Though tempted to meddle in both benevolent and mischievous ways, Leon realized he had to yield, given Ancient One's authority.

Without delay, Ancient One delved into the course of time. Finally, she was ready to impart to Leon the wisdom of magic.

Having previously perused numerous basic magical texts, Leon was not a novice at this point. Learning was poised to yield results more efficiently now.

It's worth noting that Ancient One's power is indeed formidable, her mastery of magic all-encompassing.

After all, she asserts to have amassed and cataloged all the world's magical tomes throughout the years.

This mastery enables her to manipulate magical energy for invisibility, energy projection, object penetration, illusions, flight, hypnotic abilities, shields, alchemy, psychokinesis, and teleportation, among other extraordinary capabilities.

Moreover, Ancient One commands an immensely potent psychic prowess, capable of synchronizing brainwaves with over a dozen targets simultaneously.

She can delve into any human mind, even implant memories. Ancient One's telepathic ability isn't bound by distance; practically the entire Earth falls within her purview.

In essence, her abilities bear resemblance to Professor X's mutant powers, though Ancient One's gifts stem from magic while Professor X's originate from being a mutant.

Additionally, there's a simpler yet effective path to follow—psychokinesis.

However, Ancient One employs psychokinesis sparingly, as it's relatively straightforward but taxing on mental energy.

Leon's situation is unique due to his exceedingly vast mental power. Paradoxically, Ancient One recommends psychokinesis to him, as it hinges on pure mental prowess.

Psychokinesis encompasses a range of capabilities, including telekinesis, psychokinetic shields, manipulating object, and even launching psychokinetic attacks.

Moreover, as a form of magic, it can be considered the fundamental element of spellcasting.

For example, the classic four elements: air, fire, water, and earth.

There's also the five-element theory involving metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.

While Ancient One is dubbed a sorcerer and portrayed as a Caucasian woman in the movie, it's worth noting her allure.

Indeed, Ancient One is a beautiful enigma; it's an undeniable fact.

However, in the comic realm, Ancient One appears as an elderly, bearded oriental figure.

His true name remains a mystery; only 'Yao' is known.

Consequently, he possesses several oriental skills, such as Taoism and the art of Five Elements manipulation.

Ancient One instructs Leon wholeheartedly, and Leon, in turn, commits himself entirely to learning.

Yet, a peculiar incident unfolds in the real world.

When Mordo apprehended Kaecilius, while in the process of sealing his magical abilities through specialized means before exiling him, Kaecilius abruptly disintegrated in front of Mordo, reducing to ashes.

Initially astonished, Mordo and the others witnessed Kaecilius' remains transform into a dense, black energy before vanishing.

In truth, it was Leon's doing. He had subtly set the stage for Kaecilius' survival.

Mordo clenched his fists in response, this turn of events leaving an indelible mark in his mind, a foreshadowing of what was to come.
