“My alpha may have been the king, but it was the princes who had claimed his territories for him. Moreover, once they themselves became the alphas they managed to keep and unite these territories into what you now see today.”
I nodded my head as I listened to Xavier’s words. He had said them with such earnestness that I couldn’t help but be awe struck. I knew the twins were powerful in their own right, but to unite so many different territories that seemed so far apart and different at their young age seemed… Well, it seemed impossible.
Xavier told me as much.
“It may have been due to their twin-hood, some of the elders say as such, because they shared the strength between them; it was not halved as many might assume—but doubled.”
Doubled and not halved? What did that mean?
Xavier must have seen the confused look on my face because he offered me a light laugh and walked away from the table to show me something else from another book.
