CHAPTER 1

"what's up Terra , didn't see you last weekend", Monesia walked up to her best friend,Terra and asked.

"Oh sorry, something came up,I promise I'll be there next time.",Terra explained.

"So what came up.",Monesia asked curiously.

"Oh,you know some family issues with other relatives.I had to follow dad to resolve them."

Monesia understood Terra.She knew Terra family was complicated.But she was curious about what happened within their family.

"I guess you won't tell me the issue.",she said."I know you don't trust me as a friend.",she continued in a hushed voice that Terra could hear.

"Monesia,not like that.Okay I'd love to tell you but I can't.",Terra hugged her from her back .

"Okay that means I got to switch off my curiosity box then.", Monesia grumpled.

"I'll tell you everything you want to know but not my family matters, alright.",she paused before whispering into Monesia's ear,"They are secretive."

Monesia nodded and agreed.They've been friends since Grade 2 when a girl insulted Monesia 's name,calling her a weird kid.Since then everyone at school called her, weird kid until Terra stood up for her,telling everyone that anyone that called Monesia,weird kid will get beaten up by her.So since then they became friends.

"Hey you guys wait up.",A girl with round glasses and ponytail yelled behind them.That was their the third member of their group,Becky.

Becky joined their friendship group in Grade 4 when she was transferred.Well everyone avoided her because of her nerd looks.She was so smart,that made all the teachers like her.Well things became so,as she found herself liking Monesia and Terra and they happily welcome her to their friendship group.

"what's up,why are you yelling.",Terra asked Becky.

"Guess.",Becky left them hanging to guess.

"C'mon we are not as smart as you ,tell us ",Monesia said before speaking again,"Is the cafeteria offering sundaes today."

"No but quite troublesome"Becky answered and scratched her head,"we have a new principal."
