All this while Carlos thought that janette was not in decarov but in another kingdom but here she was, right under his nose waiting for him to sniff her out.Carlos went back to his palace happy cause he has found his one and only,that doesn't mean Carlos hasn't had his share on bed he was infact not a virgin.

Barret noticed something off about Carlos because ever since the death of his parent and the death of Gabriel he has been aloof for the past few years but right now barret noticed a spark in carlos eyes.

"You are looking so happy, which I haven't seen for a very long time now or have you done any killing like you always do,Carlos".

"why do you pester me barret, but it will interest you to know I haven't killed anyone yet and I have found a very interesting someone " Carlos said walking out.

"Mmm that indeed sound interesting"Barret said

Meanwhile while janette was walking towards her home speedily she reached her opened door with traces of footprint when she followed it she saw her mother lifeless body on the floor with blood, her mother stomach has been pierced multiple times with knife,Janette just stood there unblinking,she was shocked because her mother was in perfect health condition before she left.

Immediately tears began to roll down her cheeks.She went beside her mother's lifeless body and started shaking her mother to wake up"You can't do this to me mother you said we will grow old together with you in this house, please don't leave me mother" she said crying uncontrollably.

A week in decarov....

In the palace he was having a meeting with his dukes,they were few human dukes and more of vampire duke.

"my king,we have a problem with the neighbouring town,welua,there werewolves have been evading our kingdom"duke chadsway said

"yes, my lord i agree with duke chadsway I have too heard of the recent killings in this town by werewolves "duke Berlin said.

Carlos was about to speak when Evans came in and told him something beside his ears his expression darkened and he said

"Meeting adjourned, you can go back to your family and mansions"

"But my king...."Duke Grey said before he was interrupted.

'But what Duke Grey,I know there wasn't water in my mouth when I said that neither was there wool stuck in those ears of yours. I suggest you do as I say and go meet your families or don't you ever want to see them?"said Carlos threatenly

Duke Grey widened his eyes because he knew the king was capable of it " pardon me my king"

Carlos walked out of his courtroom with Evans behind him.

"Evans,fill me in all the details " Carlos said

Evans bowed his head"Her mother died a week ago, she is still looking for a job and she stopped schooling after the death of her father but I heard words that she is quite knowledgeable "said Evans

"mm ...."Carlos said

Janette stood beside her mother's grave shedding tears initially she thought it was just a bad dream,it didn't occur to her that it was reality until the next day after her mother death, the villagers buried her mother saying her mother was killed by a wolf which didn't sit well with her, they buried her mother as if she was a nobody while she was thinking.

" I knew you would be here"ariel said

janette panicked because she knew no one was there with her,when she looked back she saw it was her friend,ariel,

"you scared me,ariel,"janette said cleaning the drop of tears on her eyes

"I wouldn't have scared you if you weren't in your thought like always,and I have told you countless times to not come here without me "ariel said

"I know but sometimes I just miss her,ariel "janette said sniffing

"I know you do and she would be happy with you wherever she is and I know she misses you just as much as you do "ariel said

I miss her so much,ariel "janette said sniffing

"you can cry in front of me janette i will be your shoulder when you cry "ariel said

and this broke all the self restraints janette had,she cried while ariel patted her.
